CHEYENNE, Wyo. — By now, voters here are over the initial shock. The ranchers, businessmen and farmers across this deep-red state who knew, just knew that Americans would never re-elect a liberal tax-and-spender president have grudgingly accepted the reality that voters did just that.
But in the days since the election, a blanket of baffled worry has descended on conservatives here like early snow across the plains, deepening a sense that traditional, rural and overwhelmingly white states in the center of the country are losing touch with an increasingly diverse and urban American electorate.
“It’s a fundamental shift,” said Khale Lenhart, 27, a lawyer here. “It’s a mind-set change — that government is here to take care of me.”
As the share of white voters — and white men, specifically — shrank in this election, exit polls showed that turnout grew among black, Hispanic and Asian voters, who supported President Obama and more than compensated for his losses among whites. An analysis by the Pew Research Center found that minority voters made up 28 percent of the electorate, up from 26 percent in 2008, a proportion expected to grow.
“Welcome to the next America,” said Paul Taylor, executive vice president at Pew. “Whatever that vote looked like this year, four years from now it’ll be more so, and eight years from now it’ll be even more so.”
None of this assures election wins for Democrats. The tide of minority voters that helped elect Mr. Obama in 2008 ebbed just two years later in a welter of populist anger over deficits, job losses and Mr. Obama’s agenda, allowing Republicans to retake the House and make gains in the Senate in the midterm elections. And there is no guarantee that the next Democratic presidential candidate will match Mr. Obama’s huge margins

He won certain urban precincts in Ohio and Florida with 99% of the vote and 150% more ballots than registered voters.

Start asking yourself how that could be if the numbers of black, hispanic and asian voters increased and made up for the loss of white Obama voters.
Actually, there are two ways to look at elections ~ (1) Actual numbers of voters, and (2) Percentages of voters.
Democrats declined on both counts ~ they lost voters, their percentage of the total vote is much less this time.
Republicans came in about the same but their percentage of the total vote increased substantially.
Remember, there are NOT equal numbers of Republican and Democrat voters, and not every Democrat who fails to vote for the Presidential candidate turns around and votes for the Republican candidate.
The article here is based on several false premises, knowingly, and therefore constitutes propaganda aimed at Republicans to dispirit them.
As the Baby Boomers pass into the Great Valley of the Peoples ~ which means they die, you will see an actual contraction in the number of voters. This time you saw a Race To The Bottom ~ and next time you'll see what amounts to a Political Crash as fewer and fewer voters show up and fewer and fewer new voters are registered.
That goes on for 18 years ~ with 12 years remaining. It'd happened earlier just folks missed it and imagined Republicans went over to vote for Obama because it was an historic occasion.
The Republican advantage is a lower abortion rate among white Republicans. The Democrat disadvantage is a far higher abortion rate among black, hispanic, and white Democrats.
In short, we are looking at the end of the Democrat party. That's why we need to hit the restart button on the Republican party and shed the losers!

We’re merely outnumbered and surrounded; we have the enemy exactly where we want then.
A lot of us out here really don't like showing ID for any purpose.
If we would get back to the Constitutional male property owners, voters would just have to show up and prove they owned some real estate. No ID necessary.
The NYT is onto something here.
The GOP has aligned itself partly with the “internationalization” of business.
This means in practice, not American.
Not American, means foreign. Yet GOP is all for foreign ownership of American companies and American factories.
This is why “conservative’ business is falling. We need to be pro-American. Not global, AMERICAN.
This is so simple, so profound, and the Dems are going to beat us at this, if we do not change course.

2010 was a right wing landslide. I don't remember the MSM trying to find a place for the very few democrats who where left in this country back then.
I think what they're trying to say is this: If democrats win, the whole country has to be more like democrats.
If Republicans win, the whole country has to be more like democrats.
Do I have that right?

One more NYT column to marginalize and demoralize the white population, even quoting our disdain for the hand out, gimme races who are filling up the country and our ballot boxes, just as DeToqueville warned. The Times is bold to quote such statements because they are mocking that old fashion thinking that made the country what it is, now gloating that traditional America died with this election. The nerve.
