Israel's Pillar of Defense operation is underway in Gaza amid the biggest flare-up in Israeli-Palestinian violence in four years. Israel launched the operation in response to days of rocket fire out of the Hamas-led Gaza Strip, kicking it off on Wednesday with more than 50 airstrikes and the assassination of Ahmed Jabari, Hamas' top military commander.
Although they dont see eye to eye on the ethical issues surrounding the targeted assassination of Jabari, German editorialists on Friday are in broad agreement that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu primarily launched the offensive in order to bolster support for his Likud party in advance of the parliamentary election scheduled for January 22. They also worry that the fighting could threaten peace between Israel and Egypt and foster even more instability in the Middle East.

Maybe the Germans would like to explain some kind of “final solution” for us.
Quiet down, Jerry.
No one seems to recall how this whole thing got started just the other day ...It wasn’t the killing of Jabari , it was an unproviked attack on a vehicle full of IDF soldiers who werre on patrol on the Israel Gaza border road , on the Israeli side and whom were hit by a laser guided anti tank rocket . How many were killed ? They shot back with some tank fire and then Hamas started unloading with the present enfilade. Jabari was ancillary to the response to all of that . THEY always start it and then they hide behind women and children and cry foul . I say take them all out , with prejudice , no mercy , no quarter . Make Gaza totally unlivable . Permanently
When Mohammedan missiles fall on Berlin, we'll remind you to not react counterproductively.
Screw off,

It’s the liberal media that has the memory “deficiency”.
The Israelis should hide in their bomb shelters while Hamas showers rockets down on them. I suppose shooting down the incoming rockets is unnecessarily provocative. If the Jews defend themselves, they must be exterminated. Remind anyone of the Warsaw Getto? Except the Israeli Jews are well armed.
How many Muslims have European countries, including Germany, let in? And how many are they continuing to let emigrate? If they don’t realize how “strategically unproductive” that policy is, they should just STFU.
Ouch! That’ll leave a mark...or a euro, whatever...
..... more memory loss in Germany.... (spit...cough) rascals.... condemned millions of decent folks to the gas chambers.... Yet, today..... they have memory loss....
and if nearly a thousand rockets were fired into Germany from somewhere in the last year or so, wonder if they would be patient and eschew a military response.
And this “Germany” siding with the people who are calling for the elimination of all Jews, and for a “final solution” to the problem of Israel,,,, that wouldn’t be the same “Germany” that i read used to,,,,
Ohhh,, nevermind.
ISRAEL. POLAND. Two countries, two nations who check their enemy and raise them by double, every single time. Every. Time.
We can’t seem to whip the stuff off our own shirt tail. The Repuplican Establishment still corrals us, every election, and Third Party eludes us.
The Muslims are coming into smaller midsize cities 100 per month is what I have been told. Check out the numbers on the QT with your nearest Catholic Family Service, who are not allowed to ask questions of religious affiliation, but only to meet the needs of these “refugees”.
Don’t know how accurate this story is, but the source is credible.
A man with a gun breaks into your house. As he goes from room to room, shooting up the place, he keeps yelling out, “Don’t you oppress me! Don’t you defend yourself! Stop oppressing me!”
Meanwhile, all your neighbors are standing in their front yards and yelling support for the gunman, and cursing you for trying to defend your home from his attack.
Many years ago a coworker made the same argument for the Palestinian side holding that Israel was the intruder.
It occurs to me that a sufficiently irrational position can't be successfully argued against. Sometimes it's best to let the muzzle do the speaking.
In this case, fighting the Paleos achieves little, if the status quo is not changed. And the only way to change the status quo is to deport all the Gaza Paleos to Egypt.
Israel has just been insane not to have done this already. Each and every time, the Paleos just keep getting better and better weapons, and their attacks get more and more effective.
So what do the Israelis think will happen? That if they just kill a few more Hamas leaders, that the Paleos will stop attacking? That they will no longer get support from Iran, and now Egypt?
How many Israelis have to die before they finally say “Enough!”, and push all the Paleos out of Gaza into Egypt?
Is there not enough strife? Will the Israelis feel lonely once the Paleos are not there, attacking them?
Seriously, push them out. The murder and violence will only keep getting worse until they do.
As much as they adore the status quo, it has to end.
Germans. Who the Hell would take their advice on international relations???
How’s it going to look when the Israli ground forces start reporting capturing caches of weapons traceable to Libya, Syria, or Egypt?
that’s about what they are saying on the news here in Seattle.
the nerve of those rascally Israelis...
Mrs. Corrie on the news going on about how unfair the IDF is
in targeting poor defenseless Gaza. Since her daughter died
she has become a saint of the left.
It is my considered opinion FWIW that a third party should be started immediately. Tea Party people need to get busy canvasing their neighborhoods or towns and start signing up people for a third party. By 2016 with Sarah Palin’s leadership, the party should be ready to challenge the two loser parties. It would need a strong leader who already has national/international recognition. If the Tea Party doesn’t have the patriotism to do this, there is no hope for the U.S.
