The St. Lucie County Canvassing Board has ordered the retabulation of all early votes in the highly contested congressional race between Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) and Democrat Patrick Murphy, according to Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a volunteer lawyer for the West campaign. The board voted 2-1 in favor of recounting the votes.
“This retabulation of all early votes as the Supervisor of Elections originally planned is a victory for democracy,” Shapiro told TheBlaze. “This restores some level of trust and public confidence in the system… it was the right thing to do.”
Election officials will begin retabulating the roughly 20,000 additional early votes at 9 a.m. on Saturday, he said.
West needs to gain just 249 votes in those 20,000 ballots to trigger a statutory recount under state law, Shapiro told TheBlaze. West gained 535 votes in the initial recount of 16,275 ballots. Both candidates combined lost 800 votes, however, 80 percent of the decrease was owned by Murphy.

exactly, a recount only votes the ballots but we need to know how many illegals voted,
how many snowbirds from the north voted
how many voted more than once which is a massive problem down here because of the vacation addresses they use.

There needs to be a thorough investigation for sure. Scan down to page 4 of the form and it will give you the total votes received by each candidate. You'll see they aren't getting over 100%.

Don’t go there: they had two cards per ballot, so one vote gave two cards. This was jumped on erroneously by some who didn’t look closely. Look at page three for the reality of registered vs. voted. We made ourselves look dumb on this one. We must stop that.
According to what i read yesterday on FR, the deadline for all recounting will be reached in less than 40 minutes TODAY.
here are the results of each precinct, while you came up with a god thought on the process it seems she cannot and she;s in cahrge of the county elections, plus why did it only happen in her county and not in my county?
The St. Lucie County canvassing board has missed a noon deadline to file election results to the Division of Elections, prompting campaign officials for Patrick Murphy to declare the political newcomer the winner in the race for congressional District 18 race.
Under Florida law, the final certified results were due from all of the state’s 67 supervisors of elections today. If the results do not arrive on time, the certified unofficial results submitted last Sunday stand. Those results have Murphy winning by 0.58 percent. A spread of less than 0.5 percent would have triggered an automatic recount.
“Today at noon, it became clear Patrick Murphy will be officially certified as the next congressman from the 18th Congressional District,” Anthony Kusich, Murphy for Congressman campaign manager, said in a prepared statement issued around 12:40 p.m. “The voters have spoken and Patrick Murphy is once again the clear winner. It is beyond time to put this campaign behind us and put the interests of the people of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches first.”

Tim Edson, Murphy’s campaign manager, disagreed.
“As usual, Murphy’s people are full of garbage,” Edson said. “This is something the secretary of state and governor will have to sort out.”
Edson said other problems arose this morning. The recount showed 900 voters cast ballots in precinct 93, where there are 7 registered voters, Edson said.
“We have concerns here,” Edson said. “The results are raising more questions.”
Shortly after the deadline passed, attorneys for West headed to the St. Lucie County Courthouse to request an emergency hearing on the issue. It is not known if a hearing has been scheduled.
