Joe Cocker - Unchain My Heart
Oh, Songwriters: OTIS/SANFORD Unchain my heart baby let me be Cause you don't care please set me free Unchain my heart Baby let me go Unchain my heart Cause you don't love me no more Every time I call you on the phone Some fella tells me your not at home Unchain my heart set me free Unchain my heart Baby let me be Unchain my heart Cause you don't care about me You got me sewed up like a pillow case But you let my love go to waist Unchain my heart set me free I'm under your spell Like a man in a trance You know darn well that I don't stand a chance Unchain my heart let me go my way Unchain my heart you worry me night and day I live a life of misery And you don't care a bag of beans for me Unchain my heart set me free Solo I'm under your spell Like a man in a trance You know darn well that I don't stand a chance Unchain my heart let me go my way Unchain my heart you worry me night and day I live a life of misery And you don't care a bag of beans for me Unchain my heart set me free

Blondie - Heart of Glass
Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out had a heart of glass Seemed like the real thing, only to find Much of mistrust, love's gone behind Once I had a love and it was divine Soon found out I was losing my mind It seemed like the real thing but I was so blind Much of mistrust, love's gone behind In between What I find is pleasing and I'm feeling fine Love is so confusing there's no peace of mind If I fear I'm losing you it's just no good You teasing like you do Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out had a heart of glass Seemed like the real thing, only to find Much of mistrust, love's gone behind Once I had a love and it was divine Soon found out I was losing my mind It seemed like the real thing but I was so blind Much of mistrust, love's gone behind Lost inside Adorable illusion and I cannot hide I'm the one you're using, please don't push me aside We could've made it cruising, yeah Yeah, riding high on love's true bluish light Once I had a love and it was a gas Soon turned out I had a heart of glass [radio version] Soon turned out to be a pain in the ass [album version] Seemed like the real thing only to find Much of mistrust, love's gone behind

Each Day
November 16, 2012
In 1924, a boy named Johnny, who loved to play basketball, completed the eighth grade in a small rural school. His father, rich in love but short on money for a graduation gift, gave Johnny a card on which he had written his own 7-point creed, which he encouraged his son to start following daily. Three of the points were: Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible. Make each day your masterpiece. Pray for guidance, and give thanks for your blessings every day.
Jesus, in what we often call the Lords Prayer (Matt. 6:9-13), taught us to approach our heavenly Father each day; its not something to be said once and forgotten. Through it we offer God praise (v.9); seek His kingdom and His will (v.10); trust His provision (v.11); and ask for His forgiveness, power, and deliverance (vv.12-13).
Throughout his life, Johnny sought the Lords strength to live each day for Him. He became a three-time All- American basketball player at Purdue University and one of the greatest college coaches of all time. When Coach John Wooden died at the age of 99, he was honored most of all for his character, his faith, and the many lives he touched.
By Gods grace, may we make each day our masterpiece for Him.
Heavenly Father, thank You for the blessing and
privilege of being able to drink deeply from Your Word.
Give me guidance as I seek You. I want to know You
and to have my life bring a smile to Your face.
Commitment to Christ is a daily calling.
