Just a few minutes ago on CNN, Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported that a high-placed source informed her that former CIA Chief David Petraeus will use his upcoming testimony to amend his previous testimony. According to this source, Petraeus will tell the closed door congressional hearing that he knew "almost immediately" that the September 11 anniversary attack on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack committed by the al-Qaeda-linked militia Ansar Al Sharia.

I have been watching and listening since 9/11 when it happened and it wasn’t until the night of the election when I remember praying Dick Morris was right about a landslide then the next days the GOP was talking crap about amnesty and not talking about the voter fraud. I felt like I was tripping in another dimension what is going on here, people died has the freaking world gone crazy. I think it was then that I begin to ask myself could something else be going on. Broadwell’s father speaking to press about standing by his daughter and it will all come out, watching FBI carry things out of her house. Maybe she was holding for Petraeus and the sex under the desk was a psyops lie so they could continue to load up with documentation and line up witnesses to take down ZERO.These people are highly trained in psyops to do this in a war situation. As Bam Bam knows nothing except organizing in the community and thug street fights (doubtful)and bath houses then why couldn’t our best and brightest bring the sting to Obama? Ask yourself this question the press want the sex story so bad, why don’t they have something better to peddle than some handshaking photos of Dave and Paula? At least one salacious pic of them oggling each other. For heaven’s sake they are supposed to be involved for months and months and not one pic snapped of them close together, in sweaty t-shirts, looking into each others eyes please. The press has nothing. All they have are pictures of the two kardashian wannabes in Tampa. Maybe Dave, Paula, her husband, Ham, Allen, the Admiral all know now is the time to come to the aid of their country. Now is the time for HEROES. Just my two cents.
True. We should have the result in a few hours to see if Petraeus is a patriot or a bureaucrat who will lie to defend his boss.

Did Obama through his failure to issue cross-border authority in Benghazi doom those 4 Americans to their fate?
Were the former seals told to stand down, and not save those in the mission at any time?
Who issued that order?
Were special forces, trained for this mission type, making any moves enabling them to perform a rescue on 9/11?
Why did they not move into Benghazi?

Does his wife have the security clearances necessary to attend such a hearing? I doubt it.
I hope you are right. But I think it is just wishful thinking. So don’t get your hopes up.
Maybe she does, considering her heritage. I believe her father was top dog at West Point when she met Petraeus. She may have clearance and keep it active.

The former SEALS were told to stand down.
“Who issued that order?”
They were working for a private contractor. The order would have been given by the contractor and both the military and the cia could technically say neither had issued an order to stand down.
I suspect that we are not going to get any major revelations. Both sides will be able to point to some statement in his testimony that support their position. Petraeus will give guarded Delphic statements recognizing that he is currently under investigation. He will try to be as non-partisan as possible. It will be a high wire act fraught with danger, but the General will not fall off.

We should be receiving leaks before too long. No way his testimony is going to stay with just the participants.
