(CNSNews.com) The Obama administration named Holly Petraeus--wife of retired Gen. David Patraeus, who resigned last week as CIA director after revealing he had had an extra-marital affair--to $187,605-per-yer job in the newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

I have heard the same comment from
4 others .
This is how things are done in IL. But they’ll still find a way to blame Bush.
She spoke to us at the Keystone conference a year ago and was already in the position, IIRC.
“...this bimbo gets a $187,000 job?.....”
The Government Party excels at creating positions for one another....on our dime!!!
Institutionalized corruption.
“...newly formed Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).”

Translation: A newly-created slush-fund Bureau pays long-term hush money to wife of fired General.
The Benghazi Murder Cover Up gets more serious every day.
P4 is going to roll over. He sold out to evil a long time ago.
What a BS title. This happened nearly 2 years ago but CNS frames its headline to make it seem like some kind of recent “BRIBE” because of Libya or testimony.
Cloward Piven
tagline update
She was hired in a transition team/start up position in Jan. 2011. Reads like she was just promoted today.
I suspect that she gave them the general’s head on a silver platter. Bet she knew EVERYTHING early on.
P4 is going to roll over and says as follows: Ät first we thought it was a response to the video, then we learned later is was more coordinated”
Anyone expecting him to be truthful is delusional.
Nachum, please include me!
I take back my post, you are correct. She did have the job earlier CNS is making this sound like a new position.
I’ll read better next time.
Can’t we just pay these people to go away? I mean, seriously, it would be worth it, and over the long haul, cheaper.
Radio host Glenn Beck referred to the University as the dumping ground for the Center for American Progress a left-leaning advocacy organization in his show on The Blaze on Monday, speculating that the Princeton presidency was an escape route for former CIA director David Petraeus GS 87.
Beck said he was surprised Petraeus would want to run the university where Van Jones is a professor. Where Peter Singer is a professor. Isnt Cornel West [GS 80] also a professor at Princeton?
Jones and West, former Center for African American Studies faculty members, no longer teach at the University.
Im sorry, the university that has the Woodrow Wilson Center for Politics? Beck said, presumably referring to the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Really? Youre going to go run that? Theyre going to embrace him?
In late October, Beck predicted the Obama administration would blame Petraeus for the death of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stephens in Benghazi, Libya, in September.
Petraeus is going to be the fall guy, Beck said at the time. Theyre going to have him step down. Theyre going to point all fingers to him. You watch. He goes to Princeton. I think he goes to Princeton.
Four days after University President Shirley Tilghman announced she would retire in June, The Daily Princetonian reported Petraeus was seriously interested in the presidency of his graduate alma mater.
It is not new but this is still a huge story. Obama was supposed to bring “transparancy” to Washington and avoid such old style patronage to unqualified cronies.
It is good that this predates the scandal because this ties the liberal general to Obama loyalty before his recent pro-Obama cover statements on Libya and his pro-faggot go-along and get-along position on military faggotry.
You got it :)
Makes sense. Boinking Broadwell may have cost him his CIA job, but it will be a feather in his cap and a plus in his CV as far as those yankee doodle universities are concerned.
