Broadwell: Petraeus Knew of Benghazi Plea for Help,

Military expert Paula Broadwell, who was allegedly improperly involved with resigned CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus, confirmed in October that the CIA annex in Benghazi asked for reinforcements when the consulate came under attack on September 11. She also acknowledged that "there was a failure in the system." Broadwell was speaking at her alma mater, the University of Denver, on October 26. Her lecture, which is on YouTube under the title "Alumni Symposium 2012 Paula Broadwell," now has added value, because based on the recent disclosures, it can now be assumed that she indeed knew exactly what it was that Petraeus knew about the attack. Broadwell confirmed the reports on Fox News that the CIA annex asked for a special unit, the Commander in Chief's In Extremis Force, to come and assist it. She also said that the force could indeed have reinforced the consulate, and that Petraeus knew all of this, but was not allowed to talk to the press because of his position in the CIA.

So it looks like both the LEAST important and MOST important thing about this is the “security breach” that would come with having someone you had been and maybe still were ‘intimately involved with’, come out and tell the public
what she knew about Benghazi. And I doubt ANYONE’s upcoming testimony will even touch on a couple of other rumored complications, like gun-running to Syria, and/or imprisoned Jihadists who the attackers were either trying to free or on whose behalf they were trying to take revenge..Either way, the Administration surrounded it with a carefully-constructed mess of contradictions, ambiguities, and imponderables to keep everyone as confused as they pretended to be in the run-up to the Election.
So, for all practical purposes, anything that’s revealed in upcoming testimony will have no effect on Obama’s Presidency,even if there’s a playable angle there that might get him impeached.

I hadn’t heard the Stevens rape angle before. Just Googled the Arab press reports. Sort of doubt that. Everything else I’ve read says he was killed by smoke inhalation. Since nothing about this administration is as it seems and this particular tale is from the CIA where there are at least four turns out to every story, I am going to hazard a guess as to what may, just maybe the tale.
I have heard that the affair was over a while back and Broadwell and Petraeus remained friends. Now in the clip of Broadwell’s remarks at Denver University, she said that Petraeus as head of the CIA was not allowed to talk to the press. that started me thinking. What if Petraeus wanted to expose some of the facts that were being lied about and used Broadwell to tell the tale. Including that the CIA was holding prisoners at the compound. Think back to the “safe area” in the house as shown on TV. That sure looked more like a holding cell than a State Dept. safe area.
Maybe just maybe everything else is smoke and mirrors.
So far none of the stories about Benghazi has held water and most have really been ludicrous so this theory makes sense to me and would explain a lot.

Yeah, and look at how The Blue Dress was resolved: to the benefit of both Clintons, who wound up getting more sympathy come their way,all of it undeserved, as they were characterized as all-too-human victims of a needless persecution.The sheeple may well be “dipped” into the tabloid aspect of this and all other questions about Benghazi get lost in the shuffle. There is already too large a cast of players in this begging for attention on any number of levels and situations,all of which could lead to Benghazi fatigue.Unless there are some serious indictments somewhere, OR unless Petraeus comes out , subpoenaed or not, and tells the whole truth, this whole affair is destined to dissolve into a confused muddle, with the sheeple learning nothing in particular, even if ALL guilty parties wind up getting punished.
