After more than nine weeks of trying to reconcile their story line with that of the State Department and the CIA, the Pentagon finally released its timeline of the Libya terror attack during a Friday afternoon, off-camera briefing with an official who could only be quoted anonymously.
The news was overtaken almost immediately by the announcement that Gen. David Petraeus had resigned, purportedly due to an extramarital affair. He was slated to testify in closed-door hearings on Capitol Hill this coming week before the Senate and House intelligence committees. Petraeus no longer plans to testify.
However, while the Petraeus resignation has since dominated attention in Washington, an examination of the military’s version of events reveals a number of discrepancies and gaps worth closer scrutiny.

Fox News has now learned that the FBI and CIA have contacted the Global Response Staff (GRS) and Special Operating Forces teams who were involved that night and warned them about sharing information from the rescue efforts that night and have threatened to prosecute further leaks."
Why worry about timelines and threats for people who leak information?

It was the flipping anniversary of 9-11 & Benghazi was overrun with al-Qaeda & the ambassador had been begging for security for months so you already knew what you needed to know and you knew where you needed to be. BEFORE the consulate was attacked. BEFORE the Ambassador was killed. NO excuse.

Spot On! It was SEPTEMBER 11th! Obviously our Leaders no longer remember the significance of his date. Ever year we were all put on high alert CODE RED by President Bush. Obama ended the code system and with it the memory of 9/11
These folks are acting like it was “just another day”
The difference now is they (Dems and/or media) need to start worrying about the next election. They just won, but with only about 88% of their 2008 vote. (Romney gt about 97% of 2008 vote). They are NOT in good shape as a party with Obama at the head, no matter what we think.
We need a chart/timeline for each agency. Do ANY of them match up at this point? It’s getting more and more difficult to keep the ever leaking info (or BS?) straight.

Actually this makes perfect sense if you thought that those doing the terrorizing were hired by the obama regime.Otherwise it sounds crazy.
Benghazi and Petraeus are two pieces of a very intricate puzzle.
Both Obama and Biden may wind up getting impeached and removed from office when all this plays out.
The military is not going to allow Obama to do much more damage, is my opinion.
And the Left, which was apoplectic about Watergate , Iran-Contra, and the right’s correct response to Clinton’s law-breaking, will not be able to excuse covering for Bambi and Mr. Malarkey.
It is becoming clear that Obama and his thugocracy was involved in running arms to the Syrian rebels from Libya.
That could not see the light of day, so, like Uriah in the Old Testament, protective forces were withdrawn/prevented from being sent in order to effect the murder of Ambassador Stevens, who had, on 9/11/12, now become a potential liability.
Our Founders took on the British Empire for less.
We will take over congress in 2014 and the presidency in 2016 but by then what will we take over? What will be left?
Meanwhile, they have already continued their destruction of a once great country in the background where they always do the most damage. First in line take 1.6 million acres offline for drilling. We can also look for yet another 1,000 EOs if not more over the next four years. Socialists=incremental destruction. Communists =immediate destruction. Zero and the chicago thugs are somewhere in the middle.
What was not said was that the Gen.tried to help anyway,since Ham's obviously a patriot and believes in never leaving anyone behind.What happened next is a bit bizarre. Ham was was relieved of command 30 seconds later by a junior officer. Who says our military is not loaded with bad guys,it definitely is.

It’s closer from our bases in Germany to Benghazi that it is to our bases in Rota, Spain and many other places.
Now the military is pleading lack of assets? They can’t get from Italy to Benghazi, one hour by jet, two hours by prop?
If this is true, our enemies must be amazed at this fact, and are even now busy planning new attacks.
I personally think they are emboldened enough that we are going to get hit at home again .... and hard. I have no faith in Obama to protect Americans or America itself. People can say what they will about 'W', but when 9-11 happened, one of the things that kept me calm (& for about 5 minutes after I heard the Pentagon was hit, I was anything but calm) was that I KNEW he would be a leader & as CIC, handle it. I certainly don't feel the same way today .... and I don't have confidence in the military leadership I had then either, based on statements like those just made that we are commenting on.
