A school district in Maine is apologizing after middle school students learned about homosexual foreplay during what was supposed to be a “Diversity Day” presentation.
“I don’t want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay,” outraged parent Kristy Howard told Fox News.
The principal of Gorham Middle School sent a letter to parents apologizing for the graphic nature of the presentation by PRYSM, Proud Rainbow Youth of Southern Maine.
“They went beyond the scope of our intentions and discussed topics that we do not deem appropriate for our middle school,” Robert Riley wrote in a letter obtained by The American Journal. “We do not intend to expose them to ideas that are not within the scope of our teaching about responsible citizenship as it is embedded in our code of conduct.”
The incident occurred two weeks before the state voted to approve gay marriage – and involved a classroom of 25 eighth graders.
Howard’s 13-year-old son was one of those who came home shocked by the presentation’s graphic nature.
“They were talking about sex and if you didn’t have a condom – saran wrap could be used in place of a dental dam,” Howard told Fox News. “It was all new to me.”
Howard said the PRYSM presenters also cursed and questioned whether the children had been taught about safe homosexual sex.
James Hagen, chairman of the school committee, told The American Journal that teachers felt uncomfortable about the presentation and reported it to the principal.
“Teachers were in such shock,” he told the newspaper. “Everyone just froze.”
Principal Riley defended the way the teacher’s handled the situation – noting that the conversation about gay foreplay happened near the end of the presentation.

Progressives have **always** controlled teacher training and curriculum development. Progressives have **always** pushed the envelop just far enough so that the voters didn't rebel. That's how we got to where we are today.
Remember please: Government owned and run K-12 schooling ( AKA: a socialist-funded, compulsory-use, and single-payer entitlement) was a progressive idea from the very beginning in the mid-1800s to early 1900s.
Socialist-funded, compulsory, and single-payer K-12 school is corrupt because its socialist foundation is rotten and always has been from the beginning.
We should use this on homos and butches when they introduce their counterfeit spouses.

Slow down here. Until you are in a situation you don't know how you will react. Several years ago we had a school assembly in which a fight broke out. There were about 15 teachers in the Auditorium when it happened. It happened so fast and was so violent that myself and another teacher were the only ones to react. The difference between us and them was that we both had Martial Arts training wee able to see the events before they unfolded.
Even this public school teacher knows the difference between "They're", "There", and "Their."
Keep posting you keep doing more harm than good to your cause.

I was in a rush to teach my Sunday School class of 5 and 6 year olds and didn't proofread my post. ( You have accused me of not helping government schooled children but the parents of these sweet children would disagree.)

Aren't you the one that claims to have some sort of advanced degree? For the record I don't comb over anything you write with a fine tooth comb or otherwise, errors just seem to pop out. And seeing as how much emphasis you place on education you would think that instead of making a snarky comment you would very politely say: "Thank you for helping me to improve my writing."
But that would be the adult mature thing to do. You would think that a medical professional would act in a more mature manner, even if it is just to be a good example.
