Of course Obama cannot be in the situation room......he needs an aliby/fall guy for Benghazi.
It wasn’t his fault everyone was told to stand down......it was Bush’s....er Romney’s....er Congress....or whomever we can pin this on to ensure the Protected One remains virgin.

The Empty Chair is dereliction of duty.
“Article 92 also applies to service members whose acts or omissions rise to the level of criminally negligent behavior.
Dereliction of duty may also be used to describe an elected official failing to perform his duty.
Dereliction of duty is a specific offense under United States Code Title 10,892. Article 92 and applies to all branches of the US military. A service member who is derelict has willfully refused to perform his duties (or follow a given order) or has incapacitated himself in such a way that he cannot perform his duties. Such incapacitation includes the person falling asleep while on duty requiring wakefulness, his getting drunk or otherwise intoxicated and consequently being unable to perform his duties, or his vacating his post contrary to regulations. Article 92 also applies to service members whose acts or omissions rise to the level of criminally negligent behavior.-wiki
If an elected official is found guilty of dereliction of duty, he may be impeached

As that was happening, Panetta and Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, left the Oval Office and went into a series of meetings...
I knew it was these two that Obama wrongly delegated authority to. Panetta came out making false excuses about risk and Dempsey made a drama move for the media telling them he called that demon Rev. Jones about the anti-Mohammed video (the one that supposedly caused the attack in Libya) which Rev. Jones had nothing to do with producing.
Dempsey is an incompetent liar.
These men have to go. They have also carelessly set up the conditions to put Taliban on the Afghanistan bases resulting in the murders of US troops and the bombing of US airplanes. They have killed troops in multiple incidents, not changing course from one “mistake” of murder to the next. Obama, sadly the CIC, was wrong to delegate such a decision to them.

By all means let us extend ourselves to give cover to the untouchable one, the fuhgetaboutit, out-of-the-question Hillary. I mean the Ambassador was only under the pervue of the smartest woman in the world, Hillary Clinton’s U.S.State Department, to whom Stevens and Woods, and the third man cabled again and again for more security to be met with, “Don’t even go there.”

I don't recall Obama ever claiming to have gone to the Situation Room.
During the 2nd presidential debate, he said this:
Obama: So as soon as we found out that the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team and I gave them three instructions.
Number one, beef up our security and procedures, not just in Libya, but at every embassy and consulate in the region.
Number two, investigate exactly what happened, regardless of where the facts lead us, to make sure folks are held accountable and it doesnt happen again.
And number three, we are going to find out who did this and were going to hunt them down, because one of the things that Ive said throughout my presidency is when folks mess with Americans, we go after them.

I had Huckabee on in the background and all of sudden there is Marine Cpl. Dakota Meyer talking about not deserving the Medal of Honor and obama praising him during the ceremony for not leaving fellow Americans behind and him talking about why he disobeyed orders not to go in because, even though you always follow your orders, your loyalty to fellow Marines is a greater duty and you NEVER leave anyone behind, alive or dead.
It was powerful. My reaction listening to first obama praising him for it, but then his talking about what he did and why, man, I got such a lump in my throat and almost teared up.
I guess such a swing from anger to admiration and respect for his sheer courage and heroics to do the right thing no matter what to save all those people and leave no one behind shook me up, the difference/contrast between them, their integrity and who gives and who takes the orders...it was too much.
The truth must come out and the Pentagon owes it to its own and to us to do what they can to make it happen.
The principles involved are the essence of what we are and what is at stake.

If the BFN is planning no budget, increased taxes, enforcement of healthcare against the will of the people, the least we could do as is make a big stink about Benghazi to the point of impeachment.

I am hoping Obama’s FBI had the goods on Patraeus and were threatening to blackmail him, and instead he told on himself and resigned BEFORE his scheduled testimony next week.
And that he nails Odumbass to the wall....

Between midnight and 2 a.m., Panetta began to issue verbal orders, telling two Marine anti-terrorism teams based in Rota, Spain, to prepare to deploy to Libya, and he ordered a team of special operations forces in Central Europe and another team of special operations forces in the U.S. to prepare to deploy to a staging base in Europe Well then, who decided that these forces who were put on alert would not be sent to Libya???
