The oil will still be there when we come to our senses.

Or it’ll be there for the Chinese.

Lots of really bad things are coming now. Sure, it makes sense to trade oil for “wilderness” and “grouse habitat”.

Brought to you by the a holes who were too holy to vote for Romney whose first campaign plank was energy development.

We should start a pool - how high will gas be a gallon in 2016?

My guess is $8.50-$9.00 a gallon.

People will start keeping their house thermostat set to 58, just to keep the pipes from freezing because they can’t afford to pay to heat them to a comfortable temp.

Electric bills will be double what they are now.

At least one trillion dollars in tax money will be given to BO’s green energy buddies, who will go bankrupt before the 2016 election

Food prices will be triple what we’re paying now. Most people will eat meat once a week, maybe. Restrictions on food and farming may make meat so scarce and unaffordable that only the most wealthy among us will be able to afford to eat it at all.

BO and Moochelle will eat meat for us and tell us how much they deserve it and how much we don’t. The democrats will applaud BO’s sacrifice.

Many career federal employees (GS and SES bureaucrats) have an agenda that is "overwhelmingly dominated by the long-discredited left-liberal policies that came to dominate the worst of the Democratic Party in the 1960s and 1970s . . . experts estimate that the federal bureaucracy is overwhelmingly Democrat -- perhaps as much as 90 - 95 percent Democrat." Bill Gertz in his 2008 book, The Failure Factory.

Interior’s Bureau of Land Management cited environmental concerns for the proposed changes. Among other things, it excised lands with “wilderness characteristics” and areas that conflicted with sage grouse habitats.

Under the plan, 677,000 acres in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming would be open for oil shale exploration. Another 130,000 acres in Utah would be set aside for tar sands production.

Killing the energy industry and killing economies in western states. Huge jobs killer.

Second debate

MS. CROWLEY: I — OK. We’ll — you certainly will have lots of time here coming up. I — because I want to move you on to something that — sort of connected to cars here, and go over — and we want to get a question from Philip Tricolla.

Q: Your energy secretary, Steven Chu, has now been on record three times stating it’s not policy of his department to help lower gas prices. Do you agree with Secretary Chu that this is not the job of the Energy Department?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “The most important thing we can do is to make sure we control our own energy.

“So here’s what I’ve done since I’ve been president. We have increased oil production to the highest levels in 16 years. Natural gas production is the highest it’s been in decades. We have seen increases in coal production and coal employment.”

What he doesn’t say is where oil production has been increased. He has been investing our money in oil exploration in drilling in south America and other places, so they can sell it to the neo-colonialists, while fighting and resisting domestic oil and gas discovery and production, as in this article.

Don’t think this is really a surprise to anybody but not to worry we’re still drilling like crazy here in West Texas.
