As the national vote total began to solidify last night, one question on the minds of Republicans was: Where are the missing voters? Last night it looked like Mitt Romney had received something like 10 to 15 percent fewer votes than John McCain had in 2008, even though his percentage of the overall vote was at least two points higher. What did this mean? Where did the voters go? They didnt go to Barack Obama, because exit polls suggested he had basically turned out the same demographic support he had four years ago. So where are they? Did this suggest a significant element of the GOP base had stayed home? Perhaps evangelical voters quietly refusing to cast a ballot for a Mormon? Populist voters disgusted by the 47 percent tape?
As I write, Mitt Romney has 57.4 million votes. John McCain ended up with 59.9 million. Its a little noticed fact that in two weeks following every presidential election, votes continue to be reported by the millions. As I recall, Barack Obama got something like four million more votes in the weeks after election day, while John McCain got two or three million. Its likely that by Thanksgiving, the final vote tally will show Romney very close to or even slightly exceeding McCains total.
So there are probably no missing voters. The idea offers a certain degree of cold comfort for conservatives and Republicans, because it would suggest the problem was with Romneys candidacy in particular and not with the movement or the party. But its false, and they will not be spared the reckoning about the partys future.
I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. So I ran over and said, “Stop! don’t do it!”
“Why shouldn’t I?” he said.
I said, “Well, there’s so much to live for!”
He said, “Like what?”
I said, “Well...are you religious or atheist?”
He said, “Religious.”
I said, “Me too! Are you Christian or Buddhist?”
He said, “Christian.”
I said, “Me too! Are you Catholic or Protestant?”
He said, “Protestant.”
I said, “Me too! Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?”
He said, “Baptist!”
I said, “Wow! Me too! Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?”
He said, “Baptist Church of God!”
I said, “Me too! Are you original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of God?”
He said, “Reformed Baptist Church of God!”
I said, “Me too! Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1879,or Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915?”
He said, “Reformed Baptist Church of God, reformation of 1915!”
I said, “Die, heretic scum”, and pushed him off.

got ammo?
I'm a computer programmer (45 years).
It is a trivial matter, maybe 4 - 5 lines of code, to insert into a program statements which simply discard or ignore every 10th Republican vote.
Where were the votes counted? What computer system? Who managed that computer system?
Was the counting program secure? Was there an audit trail, that is a simple check of actual votes submitted versus total votes counted/reported?
These are important questions.
I bet if you find the answers to them you will discover that somehow George Soros was involved in the counting programs.
Here here, muawiyah!
About time, they finally listen to you! AFTER the damage has been done.
Did yours?
“We had a big enthusiasm edge”
Sez who? Karl Rove?
Which is why Romney passed Romneycare in Massachusetts, ensuring that Catholics in MA were forced to pay for abortion and contraception?
Nominating Romney was a betrayal of all the conservative Catholics in America by the GOP.
Your questions have known answers. There is an organization who has been after vote fraud for a long time. I have heard Bev Harris on CoasttoCoastAM a few times. She really knows all about the fraud.
Yes indeed it is Soros and his companys, private so you cant investigate them. Yes, it all is very secret and you cant see anything.
I have posted a number of times long posts quoting from her information. I was already expecting to lose, even while my lying eyes saw that we were going to win.
Her org has a very nice site: www.blackboxvoting.ORG
Read all about the way they cheat.

It was ALL OVER THE NEWS - EVERYWHERE ! Where were YOU ?
Listening to the people who were saying registration was D+6. And who were correct.

The calculations are only correct if you assume that nobody who voted for Obama in 2008 voted for Romney in 2012. With independents reporting a major shift from Obama to Romney there were likely several million new votes on the Republican side. If so, then Romney should have easily exceeded Obama’s total simply by keeping the 2008 McCain voters. The reality is that several million McCain voters stayed home in 2012. They were marginal Republican voters who weren’t inspired by Romney and didnt have sufficient fear of Obama. They were not Freerepublic members.
exactly
over two days has gone and we;ve found so many results not adding up and now Col Allen West has got balls to have a recount and WOW republican votes were not counted.
Just look around and we’ll see how over 4 years of prepping this election was rigged and most on our side just shut up and move on like the cowards they are.
That, is the unfortunate reality. The polls with D+6 had the correct election results.
I agree. We are under judgment. Things are going to get progressively worse. With emphasis on Progressive.
May God have mercy on us.
In other words, there were still many missing voters.
Rush Limbaugh says that Romney missed 3 million votes, people who did not turn out.
Romney captured few undecideds and alienated their conservative base, just as predicted by multiple conservative pundits here on FR.
Sarah Palin could have won this election, and the GOP has huge egg on face.
Karl Rove? Has killed the GOP, and the progressives continue to kill it.Karl needs to fall on his rusty , dull
underused sword and the GOP country club need to do the same. It is now the era of the Tea Party.
And where did the 3 millon go? They follow their investment capital offshore, having purchased lovely cottages in the highlands of South America, the Philippines, and the carribean. Taxing those 3 million “rich” Americans is just not going to happen.
Ok.
