A Facebook page that I "like", Chicks on the Right, is reporting that they have just received a little warning from Facebook:
"Just got a notice that we may be in violation of Facebook's policies. Whizzuh whuzzah? FYI - if you notice this page going down, make sure to get the word out any way you can, because we may not be able to. Wow. Big Brother works quickly, huh?"
A poster answered: "Noticing that SAME trend on ALL republican pages.."
Another poster was more specific: "The same is happening over at Barack Insults My Intelligence. The crackdown has begun is right."
Eyes and ears open, Freepers. What have you observed today?
Is FR being blocked at FB? I don’t have a FB account so I can’t check myself
granted, this was not an overwhelming majority win, but to grasp the notion that 57 million people are so bleeping braindead astounds me.
If so there is a economic opportunity for a conservative facebook type social site.
It was working an hour ago.
I understand and concur with everything you said.
I’ve been thinking with the Chick-Fillet thing ect. that a conservative social app with links to conservative businesses might go over well.
To join or get a business listing you’d have to agree to support traditional marriage and some other conservative positions.
I am developing it for mobile devices.
Freep mail me if you are interested.
Wow, look at all the whiners on this thread.
See y’all around..
“”Retreat, hell! We’re not retreating, we’re just advancing in a different direction.”
I deleted my account this morning also.
Don’t need to read anything else from liberal acquaintances to make me even more depressed.
If you haven’t figured out that Facebook, Google, and LinkdIn are Democrat fundraising tools then you need a wake-up call.
They are working very hard to curb the first, second, and tenth amendments.
They are working hard to tighten up the internet, reduce net freedom, and censor political thought.
None of this should be news.
If you use any of these companies then you should just go ahead and donate to the DNC and vote for Fascists.
There are other search engines and, really, Facebook is just very gay and narcissistic in the first place.
“Facebook is just very gay and narcissistic in the first place.”
I apologize for this last line from my last post.
It’s only 90% true for 90% of the people on Facebook.
It’s also rich for data mining. They aren’t your “friends” and can eventually use everything you share against you. For those of you staying on FB, pls tighten up all your settings and be careful what you post. It could come back to haunt you - and those connected to you.
Can anyone suggest one?
Can anyone suggest one?
If your local paper backed Obama you also need to cancel your newspaper subscription. I cancelled planne recordings of Network news shows on my DVR. I will NEVER go to a movie theater as long as I live. We can’t fight their corruptions but we can hurt their backers... If it’s a liberal company, a liberal state, a liberal business of any kind - boycott them.
I’ve been debating the same thing about deactivating my FB account. I almost did it last night, as a knee-jerk reaction, but thought I’d wait until I calmed down a little (if that’s even possible) I will wait a few more days and at the very least, not log on there for a long time.
I’ve deleted many websites from my bookmarks. Dick Morris, Townhall, Politico, and a few others. All the websites that posted polls saying that Romney would win are gone, except FR.
“Now that I’ve completed that task, I need to find a new web portal to log into when I power up the Internet. Yahoo is shrill for Obama so I need a new homepage.
Can anyone suggest one?”
www.FreeRepublic.com
hehe
I didn’t deactivate it, but I spent the day blocking, unsubscribing or unfriending any and all libs. LOL!
