Why do the talking heads on Fox sound so negative and dejected. O'Reilly sounded like he was ready to concede the election to Obama based on Hurricane Sandy. I don't understand the negativity.
Also, Juan Williams needs to go to MSNBC.

None the less, I tend to agree with his view of what Americans have become: They want “things” (from others than themselves, sadly) and brown and feminine.
He said the white majority is history. Statistically, that will certainly be true in a few years.

That was Bill O Reilly at his best. He called it exactly right. He will get some flack for that little segment because it was not politically correct at all. This country is not the same as it was 20 years ago. What passes for the "American public" these days are far more dependent and want free stuff. There just aren't enough productive, self reliant Americans left.
Were the demographics and voting patterns the same in 1980 as they are today, Reagan probably couldn't get elected. It's that bad.

We shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that they’re watching their ratings numbers at the same time they’re watching the races. They need a cliffhanger for the ratings it brings.

HOWEVER, from what I saw of ‘early voting’ (I drive around all day in Broward) was about 90% black voting for early voting. Supposedly to prevent disenfranchisement on election day.

Ted Baxter was sounding like it was over. But Karl Rove was on after BOR and was very positive for Romney. Looking at the tally right now its looking good. Romney is getting the percentage of independents he needs in Ohio. Fla is even with the Panhandle still voting. Virginia is light red and so is North Carolina. Romney is looking good right now at 7:44 CST.

O’Reilly has no expertise in anything. Like all famous blowhards he spends all his time talking. He probably hasn’t set aside a ten minute stretch to think and reevaluate in a decade, and goes off habit or instinct. If it’s instinct he yells. Since he’s a superficial thinker to begin with he’s glacially boring and utterly predictable.
Hannity is the same, obviously, only more the party hack to O’Reilly’s defender of das volk. Rush probably hasn’t done much thinking in 20 years, the “show prep” probably means about as much as what I get from scanning FR, Drudge, or something. But at least he’s funny.
