The polls are open on the east coast!!
From this morning's election day prayer thread:
"Heavenly Father may you forgive this nation and its people for the many awful sins that we have commited against you. We do not deserve the wonderful ways we have been blessed and please forgive us for our indifference, neglect and complacency towards you. May you forgive us who are members of your Church who have neglected our calling and commitment to you to be effective witnesses and stewards of the many blessings you have generously bestowed upon us. Many of us have cried out to you for the past few years as never before and we humbly beseech you to bring an overwhelming, crushing defeat on the forces of darkness in our nation. First we pray that you quicken your Church by your spirit and lead us to unity to stand against the onslaught of darkness upon us. May you smash every crooked deed as evil men and women try to hold onto power and may this be so convincing that everyone knows that your hand is in this. Then we may bring the light of your Gospel to our people who do not know you and to the nations of the world.
May you block and undo every policy and piece of legislation they have passed that is harmful to this nation. May you make every policy they make fail and may you turn the hearts of the multitudes against them. May you thwart every evil deed they try to divide this nation with. May you bring their own mischief upon them ten fold. May you punish those in our government who are lawless traitors and enemies of the Constitution by exposing them and deliver them into our hands for justice. However we also pray that through this that you open their eyes to the truth and in your mercy that you bring these people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to serve as a witness to many. May you also use this to bring revival across our nation and a restoration of a culture that glorifies You. We also pray for those just leaders in our government who are struggling against the lawless. We pray for your protection and that you embolden them to do what is right to triumph in the election and in the arena of ideas. May you also continue to open the hearts and minds of the American people to the the truth and draw them towards yourself to be renewed in repentance and spiritual rebirth.
And this we humbly ask in Jesus name. AMEN!"
Whiskey and diet coke here.
I have an eye on DU to watch their moods. I’ll report when their meltdown commences. LoL.
Barone on Fox now reporting good news...
Only because our forefathers had the insight to enshrine those rights into our constitution.
dunno, could just be votes actually counted so far, which would not be all that signficant
“If Romney can’t carry Virginia easily then how the hell can he carry Ohio, Wisconsin or anywhere else that’s a battleground? “
OH and WI a lot whiter than VA and also not connected to the beltway economy. NoVa is heavily populated with dims and 3rd world types who are naturally attracted to the kenyan.

Guess what, the ODP is blowing it in Cuyahoga County. Again.
by SamAdams @ 6:50 PM
You likely won’t remember, but in 2010 this blog reported about the underwhelming turnout in Cuyahoga County and its effect on the Ohio governor’s race.
Well, it’s happening again.
Not too long ago, the Ohio Democratic Party showed their first sign of desperation in a tweet - calling out NE Ohio and begging for higher turnout.
@OHDems
Don’t regret today! We need your help RIGHT NOW to boost turnout in NE Ohio and put Dems over the edge
Why the call out?
Because in-person voting in Cuyahoga was just at 23% at 5:00pm.
Let’s look at the numbers.
Data from the Secretary of State showed 253,000 early votes already cast in Cuyahoga County.
23% of in-person voting using total registered Cuyahoga County voters from 2008 would be 255,595 votes for a total of around 508,000 votes.
In 2008, Cuyahoga ended up casting a little more than 678,000 votes.
That means that as of 5:00pm, Cuyahoga County is approximately 170,000 votes short of its 2008 total.
The best part? Reports are that suburban Cuyahoga is overperforming right now, so things may be even worse than these terrible numbers appear.
Ohio Democrat Party Chairman Chris Redfern. You blew it.
CNN calls IN and KY for Romney
Obama 3 (VT)
Romney 19
Thank you very much! Good luck!
Delaware is, at best, purple.
And we got three big electoral votes everyone’s fighting for.
Let us not forget Joe Biden’s a Delawarean.
Prolly nothing exciting from here save ole Joe’s concession speech.
gOSH, what the heck does that mean? What is drudge trying to say?
I remember President Kerry winning Virginia in 2004. Then we found out that exit polls are total $hit!
Thanks for taking one for our team ;)
