The Talk Shows
November 4th, 2012
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Rich Beeson, political director for Romney's campaign; David Axelrod, adviser to Obama's re-election campaign.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): David Plouffe, adviser to President Barack Obama; Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Political analysts.
Schieffer posted this on his blog Saturday: We're not talking to either side this Sunday. Instead, I'm going to go to some very smart people on two different panels. I want to see what they think, see if together we can find any trends. My guess is they probably don't have any more answers than I do, but we'll find out for sure on Sunday. Harvard's David Gergen, National Review's Rich Lowry, Vanity Fair's Dee Dee Myers, The Wall Street Journal's Peggy Noonan and our own John Dickerson will start us off. Then, we'll breakdown the numbers behind a 2012 victory with Democratic pollster Anna Greenberg, Republican strategist Leslie Sanchez, Rothenberg Political Report's Stu Rothenberg, University of Virginia's Larry Sabato and CBS News Elections Director Anthony Salvanto.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Plouffe; Ed Gillespie, adviser to Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel; Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio.
On the third side of the double-cross/HVAC failed coin, I would encourage anyone pursuing the truth about Benghazi to also take into account the nature of north African jihadi groups.
By reputation they are the most violent and uncontrollable.
To wit: in the 1990s the most prominent of these groups was the Algeria-based GIA group that staged kidnappings and attacked and murdered tourists, embassies, whatever.
This group eventually applied for franchise status with bin Laden who at that time was signing up terror groups all over the world for al Qaeda’s growing multinational enterprise.
But bin Laden rejected the GIA group BECAUSE he considered them too violent and too uncontrollable.
That’s right. The north Africans have a history of being “too violent for al Qaeda.”
[That last sentence above evokes one of my favorite Hal Holbrook lines: “You made people feel sorry for Haldeman. I didn’t think that was possible.”]
In any case, it might be that Obama’s blunder was that he simply did not heed Osama’s lesson from the past and put his trust in a special breed of sociopath that can’t stop itself from killing even when the mission is otherwise.
It is fun.

I really have guests like Axelrod on as background noise, but one comment jumped out this morning:
There will be fewer exit polls this year. Don’t count on them to forecast the election results.
Found the comment on the safe room:
One former Special Op now employed by a private company in Benghazi said that even the safe room wasn’t properly set up. He said “the safe room is one of the first measures you take” and that he is “not sure how you can set a safe room without fire suppression and ventilation in case of fire.” He also said, “Ambassador Stevens would likely be alive today if this simple and normal procedure was put into place.”
Actually, at 150:2, I'd place my bets on the Seals, Provided they had a president with the cojones to support them. As Ty Wood's father said: "It was Obama who murdered them....."

I was watching NBC yesterday,The Today Show, and Chuck Todd said that ti wasn't going to be an interesting election day, but an interesting election "month".They said the same thing in 2004.This tells me that Obama is going to have his lawyers out, even if it's a blowout.
If it isn't within the margin of cheating, they won't be able to do a thing.
ABC Round table:
George Will doesn’t think the Hurricane is helping/hurting obama.
Matt Dowd - Romney will win the popular vote, lose electorally. (Aside - Dowd used to be a bit fairer in his reporting, IMO. He is showing his bias now.....again, IMO).
Cokie - whatever.
Ronald Brownstein - Republicans think it will be a different electorate.....less democrats voting. ROmney hasn’t been able to break through blue collar/white vote.
Donna Brazile - In Ohio - “It’s all souls to the polls” (hmmmmm....wonder how many times those “souls” have voted?)
Okay, it’s over. Everyone on ABC says obama wins. Will is drowned out. Matthew Dowd has exposed himself as a liberal snot.
obam acannot cheat enough to win Ohio. It is just an opinion but it will be proved correct.

If Romney wins PA the election will be over by 10pmEST Tue night.
Thanks for bringing that up. I was puzzled by the "report" that Doherty showed up from Tripoli. Sounds like the "report" was MSM spin.
The Col. went on to say that F16's could have been deployed and would have been there in 25 minutes just just like Col. Shaffer had said several times in the past few weeks.
Bottom line they(the F16's) were never called for.
Once you realized help for the Benghazi compound was never called for you have to ask the big question: why?
Once you ask why you go from there.
Correct. And even so, this precedent has been established by the 2000 Supremes:
You cannot recount selectively; you have to recount them all, and if time (established by law) is up, you cannot recount beyond that time.
It amazes me when I go back and look at the things Patrick Henry, George Washington, etc. said way back in the day. STILL so applicable to today which just tells me yet again how remarkable the founding of this country was, what extraordinary people were involved, and how blessed we were and are to have had this happen. The founding principles and the Constitution have the hand of God in them and I just love it when Paul Ryan says they should be reapplied. If we do that, I think the country will survive .... we see what happens when someone like Obozo tramples everything & spits in Gods eye, to put it mildly. I just hope God continues to bless us with a president who loves America, not one who has demonstrated malice in his heart for America and her people.
Even if there is out there somewhere in the ether a better idea or plan, a conniving mental midget is hardly the one to find it.
This is almost too easy...
Simply note the words "the next time he sees him" and I'd bet that Axel's already got travel plans to some non-extradite country. (That, or he'll just go hide out someplace in Cook County as next best thing.)
Either way, NOBODY gets to see Axel again for a bit. Presidential Pardon or no.
It takes testosterone to grow a mustache. He may have had some 40 years ago, but it seems to be gone now.
Even a week ago, I would have said 'nah', that's not it. However, with all that has come out since, the narrative keeps changing, things just keep getting more and more bizarre .... and the more I look at it, this seems to be the only thing that makes sense. The thing that is really making it stick right now is that darn video. Why/how the video? It HAD to be preplanned, had to be. So WHY did they need it? When you start looking at it from that angle, just to explain 'an attack' doesn't caryy water. When you use it to explain a 'kidnapping', it makes more sense, especially having the video 'in hand' ahead of time, plus .... the twist that I'm sure Jarrett and Obummer really loved ... they could blame it on America, which they tried initially to do with the 'apology' type statements for American free speech. I've heard people say there is no way a president would do something like this ..... after what we've been through the last 4 years, THIS president would stoop so low .... actually, 'so low' isn't good enough. Let me rephrase .... THIS president would stoop to the depths of hell to keep his power and destroy America ...... he's already killing our soldiers in Afghanistan with his ridiculous ROEs, now has killed good Americans in Libya .... and he will kill citizens in this country if he needs to in furthering his agenda. He HAS to go on Nov. 6.

Rich Beeson causes Chris Wallace to go speechless.
Wallace asks who will win.
Beeson replays Romney — with over 300.
Wallace ‘whaaaaaaaa??????’ Are you claiming Romney will get over 300?
Beeson replies ‘Romney will win BIG.’
Wallace ‘uuuuhhhhhh’
Meet the Press going back at least 3 weeks has only scum bag phony Republicans AGAIN.. Fellow Scum Bags Scarborough and Mike Murphy should both be horse whipped.
Liz Cheney types not allowed on NBC property
Bray....
BRILLIANT AND SUCCINCT POST!
I am so glad you covered the kidnapping theory...which makes the simplest sense!
You explained this in such simple, easy to understand terms.
Why hasn’t the WSJ contacted you yet to write for them????
I will have to talk with them, ha.
