very unfortunate mike placement.
Gee even christie’s mike is fatter.
Dead to me: John Roberts. Chris Christie.
Who’s next for the GOP circular file?
How could this horrible disaster response give Obama a boost?
That said, Morris is selling drama here.
Agree. He cant be gloating blowout and then scurry back when a controversy arises
Seriously, who didn’t see this article coming right before the last weekend leading up to the election?
Chris Christie.
Follow the money trail. I think fat gasbag Cristie Creme was bribed with recovery effort and funds and Cristie Creme fell for it. He’s done as a Republican....stick a fork in em.
Don’t think R&R ever had a chance in either NJ or NY. I agree that the fundamentals are still, at least moderately, in Romneys favor. Just a Morris “look at me” moment.
You are correct, but one minor adjustment. NJ was never going for Romney. That is the downside. People from outside NY and NJ are looking at NY and NJ and they are being driven to Romney. Now if Romney had some time to come down hard on Sandy and how ineffective the federal government is in responding to these things, he could win NJ and NY. That time doesn't exist before the Tuesday. Only personal responsibility, neighborhoods, and local government can respond to these events. Even when a state government gets involved things get screwed up.
The new Laurel & Hardy
Oh well, at least we still have Gov. LePage
Christie = Christ + 250 lbs. - suntan. So it looks like the bowel movement will go to the Dems.
But, the way things are going in NY and NJ, Sandy might be Katrina with zero leaving millions ‘behind’.
If Chris Christie runs in 2016, he'll be running as the 2016 version of Rick Santorum -- the guy who thinks he could be president even after losing his last election in his own state.
Fat bastard
I don't agree with either Christie or you. I don't agree with Christie's praise of Obama because I don't see evidence that Obama did anything to deserve it. However I wasn't there and I am not privy to what Christie saw.
I disagree with everything you wrote even more. In disasters Governors should give credit where it is due and if Christie believes Obama was responsive and helpful then he should say so and should NOT play politics with political disasters. Let the chips fall where they may. It was an act of God.
Furthermore if a single photo-op results in Obama winning an election I don't blame Christie. I blame the idiots that were persuaded on such a shallow basis. In any event if Obama gets reelected given this economy then the U.S. gets what it deserves. This country deserves Obama if it reelects him. In a rational world this would be a blow-out in Romney's favor.
This election isn’t about either Obama or Romney. It is a test of the American people. If we elect Obama we deserve the destruction that will be inevitable. The American people are on trial. I hope we pass the test. If we don’t, God please make our end come quickly.
Really hard for me to believe anyone outside NJ or NY care about what Christie does. If anything, common sense would say that the mess that is the NY/NJ area at this point would hurt Obama alot more than help him. But then again: who knows? It seems like common sense and a majority of the American people parted ways a while ago.
To hell with Morris, Im going with Barone...
THANK YOU
