Seven weeks later, the White House still hasn't explained what President Obama did and didn't do during the seven hours of the attack on Benghazi on September 11. And there's been no response from the White House to questions asked by senators or THE WEEKLY STANDARD or David Ignatius in the Washington Post.
We have, to be sure, heard from some government officials. But the information they've provided raises still more questions.
CIA director David Petraeus authorized a statement pointedly saying that "No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate"which strongly suggests that Petraeus believes or knows that officials in other parts of the government may have told subordinates "not to help those in need."

Would the press have been be up in arms if some police chief had listened to Matthew Shepard’s screams for help for 6 hours while he was being murdered - and done nothing? I suspect the MSM and Hollywood would still be talking about it. This? Not so much - well, not at all...
That'll give him a tingle...
On the 29th, one of my contacts said:
Been doing tracert to FR from command prompt. To which he added today:
Interesting results.
The problem is NOT FR's servers.
It's the internet backbone itself.
It's as if traffic to FR and other sites that have been
critical of Dear Leader has been... helped.
DemUn was rather fast last I was able to check. Now isn't that a remarkable coinky-dink?
Just as my site (nachumlist) was attacked the day before the first convention. Just a coincidence I'm sure.
There. Fixed.
Just wait until next Tuesday, we may have no internet service at all. Just sayin’...
Exellent work, my dear Holmes. It warrants posting elsewhere...
traceroutes look fairly normal with consistent ping times
any slow down seems to be on the server and not the network
I sure hope so.
Yeah.
Unless the box cars have WiFi.
Let's all meet at the Washington Monument afterwards, as a gathering of spiritual warriors, if you will...
Would you be so kind as to occasionally check and let us know if that suddenly changes?
Not denial of service, just a slooooooooooooooowing of service...........
tracert freerepublic.com
the final ip address is: 209.157.64.200
to monitor the connectivity to that server, type:
ping -t 209.157.64.200
a sample from my pings:
Pinging 209.157.64.200 with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 209.157.64.200: bytes=32 time=82ms TTL=45 Reply from 209.157.64.200: bytes=32 time=80ms TTL=45 Reply from 209.157.64.200: bytes=32 time=80ms TTL=45 Reply from 209.157.64.200: bytes=32 time=77ms TTL=45 Reply from 209.157.64.200: bytes=32 time=80ms TTL=45
the time from my system to FR's server is hovering between 77 and 82 ms, fairly acceptable times from FL to CA
Windows command shell?
Do you happen to know the Macintosh method?
All the hops between PSI and NTT are Afrinic nodes.
I checked for the 154 designation and lo and behold:
It's Mauritius, the huge banking center.
Since we are having a Freepathon, I was wondering if they might be up to no good. Another reason might be that we have been following Benghazi so closely, but the slowdown started before that, didn't it?

Obama as I indicated in the last debate, when we received that phone call, I immediately made sure that, number one, that we did everything we could to secure those Americans who were still in harms way?
Transcript of Second Presidential Debate
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/16/transcript-second-presidential-debate/
OBAMA: So as soon as we found out that the Benghazi consulate was being overrun, I was on the phone with my national security team and I gave them three instructions.
Number one, beef up our security and procedures, not just in Libya, but at every embassy and consulate in the region.
Number two, investigate exactly what happened, regardless of where the facts lead us, to make sure folks are held accountable and it doesnt happen again.
And number three, we are going to find out who did this and were going to hunt them down, because one of the things that Ive said throughout my presidency is when folks mess with Americans, we go after them.
Thanks for the ping!
Perhaps that episode with the FBI and the internet last summery was a practice run for shutting down some sites.
But, if he received the call and no help came, that surely makes the lie worse. He could not walk it back. It simply looks like an attempt to simply talk enough so that everything sounds like nonsense.
Ham and the other guy know exactly who told them to stand down. But, hey, it’s just another coinky dink they were suddenly replaced and not a peep out of either.
