Yes you have. Motion earlier today was to the NE. Now...it's a shade to the E of north. It's turning and WILL turn. Global models will not be THAT wrong.
Jet stream energy will fuel it. There is a negatively tilted diffluent trof to the west...and the normal tropical mechanism of deepening a system will be taken over by baroclinic forces as it transitions into an extra-tropical cyclone.
I wonder if I am living in an alternate universe today. Thanks for all the posts. You have far greater patience than I could ever muster.
It probably won’t even be a hurricane when it hits (if it is now)... wherever it goes.
I think people are just oversaturated with this doomsday stuff. The overhyping of storms while ignoring other MAJOR stories tends to make people upset.
It's a track made by someone who is obviously not a meteorologist. LOL

His projected path is already wrong. He saw it continuing as a tropical cyclone, but it’s been reborn as a Nor’easter. It retains its cyclonic flow but it is spread out over 700 miles. It’s now getting power from temp variance. The warm Gulf Stream and that Canadian cold front. Like a Nor easter it travels slowly and lingers. I wish this guy had been right, but he was dangerously wrong. This is no fake storm!
You obviously missed some of the other threads where it was said repeatedly it was not even a large storm and it was the Obama controlled government agency NOAA making it up.
Even a large tropical storm hitting a nor'easter makes it a major storm -- and those of us currently living on the coast who are watching flood waters in our communities probably know a heck of a lot more than than a lot of folks not in the middle of it AT THIS HOUR..........
I have never seen such a concentrated collection of lunatic/skeptic/conspiracy posts as the unbelieving nutcase comments today about the largest documented hurricane/n’or easter hybrid since the beginning of record keeping.

But, this storm is real and unprecedented. A storm has NEVER done this. Ever.
I know what I’m talking about too — hurricane/nor’easter hybrids are far different than gulf ‘canes. We take nor’easters far more seriously.
There is no media scaring me or anyone in my area - we don’t rely on them.
