The mainstream media's silence on the Benghazi disaster reached deafening levels on Sunday, as hosts of four out of the five major news shows--with the exception of Fox News Sunday--failed to raise the issue. Only Bob Schieffer of CBS gave it serious consideration, and only after it was raised by Sen. John McCain.
When the Benghazi issue did surface, other than on Fox, it was invariably brought up by Republican guests, and then deflected by the hosts, who largely ignored new stories this week that implicated the White House in the decision not to intervene to save the life of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and other American staff.
Here is how the Sunday shows covered the issue:
NBC: Meet the Press with David Gregory
The Benghazi issue was not raised at all, save by panelist Carly Fiorina, who was interrupted by Gregory. He promised, "We'll get to that a little bit later," but did not return to the issue before the show's end. (The show was interrupted in some markets, in the final minute, with breaking news about Hurricane Sandy.)

The media is aiding and abetting murder and it isn't the first time. There is apparently no crime that the Regime commits that the media doesn't attempt to justify and support.
It is seriously an alternate universe out there. Disturbing.
tweeted and will re-tweet:
@abc @cbs @nbc @msnbc @cnn ALL complicit in Obama’s coverup of Benghazi by FAILURE TO REPORT. #benghazi #impeach #gunrunning #standdown
This reminds me of the predictions made on these pages. FAIL!
If by now you don’t think that ALL of your perceptions of reality out there are controlled by the media you need to go back to school!
They are hoping that Romney will bring it up. Then they can pounce on him for playing politics with a tragedy, thereby switching the focus to his “wrongdoing”.
Between talk radio, Fox News, and what has already been revealed, the 53% who are likely to vote for Romney have already seen the parsing, and know a liar when they hear one.
As long as the Republicans keep digging and Fox News keeps on with the investigative journalism, it will help expose the liars.
When is obvious too obvious? Contrast the excessive number of unending leaks by the administration after Osama’s death to the stark silence about Benghazi coming from the the administration over the last two months.
In politics, there are no coincidences.
Iowa’s #3, the Quad City Times said they endorsed Romney because of Zero’s failed and Romney’s presumptive leadership qualities. Lots of angry libs in their comments. Schadenfreude starts.
Propaganda outlets must be formally recognized as NOT NEWS professionals. Deny them access to official interviews and press events. Subject them to the same rules applicable to political activities. Refer to them publicly as political activists, rather than news organizations. There must be a price paid.
The media are covering up for Obama
Thank you for bthe blink. They are doing great.
Telling about Benghazi. Watch them immediately pull the drapes.
This is a job for the media and it is breaking and chipping its way through, and without the msm. Even British papers are getting it out there and with smart phones, Facebook, Twitter and FOX we are finding we can get the job done after all. That’s a revelation that was just waiting to be proved.
Obama’s numbers can not be helped by exposing what look like impeachable offenses. This must be the reason they are ceding the story to us, avoiding engagement on this story, and buying time.
Of course, I cannot slam the media and Obama alone.... I truly believe that if @MITT ROMNEY continues to REFUSE TO PUBLICLY ACKNOWLEDGE BENGHAZIGATE, then, he TOO is complicit in the media and Obama’s coverup.
We’re voting for our next COMMANDER IN CHIEF people.
My sentiments EXACTLY. See my post above.
DITTO!!!
If they don’t....IMO, they too are complicit.
