Just picked a random name “Gianluca Rigolio” - his name appears as an observer in the Carter Center report on the Guinea presidential elections of 2010.

http://www.cartercenter.org/resources/pdfs/news/peace_publications/election_reports/guinea-2010-FinalReport.pdf

page 137

Maybe works for the Red Cross

Looks like a euro-lib to me, if that is indeed his pic.

Good, now we’ll know who the next of kin is so we can send our condolences.

I don't....maybe Seek has one.

Looks like the U.N. observation post will be up in Tallahassee, not near us here on the central coast.

Phooey!

Thanks. A list is being compiled of the results we find. Do not neglect former convictions, if possible. Drugs, sexual predation, what have you.

I don’t know how this got going. I do know it is in effect. Our goal is to determine the players and discover ties to Communism, Socialism, or Anarchism, OR involvement and/or facilitation in the CREATION of Voter Fraud, OR convictions for serious crimes of Voter fraud, narcotics, or sexual predation.

I don’t see anything in the profile that indicates a leftwing bias, ties to communism, socialism, or anarchism, or an indication he is a player in voter fraud. Please keep digging. Thanks for the work so far!

Good questions but this has been ongoing. I know the same occurred in 2008 and maybe further back. I’m having computer glitzes this morning so I’m not able to find the info but search google for ‘monitering of US elections 2008’ and you get some hits.

This is the same thing that the “Carter Center” has been doing overseas for many years now. In fact they be doing this as a take off of Carter’s efforts.

I think this all sucks too and should not be allowed.

In fairness, however, I would like to point out that the people are identified as being “based” in the cities identified, not that those are the places they will monitor.

My guess is that these U.N. A@@holes are “based” in state capitals but actually operate, in most cases, in the large centers of population. You know like Sh__cago where voter fraud NEVER occurs. /s

Of course, and well-observed.

The other observer for Columbus, Ohio (my state) is Kirsten Mogensen of Denmark:

Kirsten Mogensen is an Associate Professor in Journalism at Roskilde University, Denmark. Her main research interest is journalism philosophy and professional norms. In 2010 and again in 2011 she was program chair for the academic track of a major international conference at Stanford University exploring journalism and other forms of communication about innovation. In 2010 she was a visiting scholar at Stanford Center for Innovation and Communication, Stanford University, and during that time she interviewed a number of influential journalists in Silicon Valley. From 2001- 2010 she published research about the professional norms and values related to the television coverage of September 11, 2001, on major American Television networks. This research project was done in cooperation with scholars at Louisiana State University. Mogensen has a background in journalism. She graduated from the Danish School of Journalism 1976 and studied Television News Production at University of Minnesota 1976-77. She has worked as a journalist at newspapers and in broadcast. Apart from university research, Mogensen is also involved in international post-conflict aid, working within the EU, OSCE and the Danish Foreign Ministry. Her international work experiences include visiting fellow at Louisiana State University 2001-02, Chief Press Officer for Aceh Monitoring Mission 2005-06 and visiting scholar at Stanford University 2010. She has been an international election observer in Sierra Leone (EU, 2007), Moldova (OSCE, 2009) and Kyrgyzstan (OSCE, 2010).

Specialties Innovation Journalism. Communication during national crisis and post-conflict periods. Public diplomacy. National television coverage during terror attacks. Journalism philosophy and ethics. Journalism practice and history. Democracy, freedom of press and election observations. Suggested reading: "Journalism during terror attacks" in Media, War & Conflict, Vol. 1 (1): 31-49, 2008. Los Angeles, London, New Delhi and Singapore: Sage http://www.linkedin.com/in/kirstenmogensen

She was involved in the ACEH affair in Indonesia as a:

Chief Press, Protocol and Information Officer Aceh Monitoring Mission (AMM) September 2005 – March 2006 (7 months) http://www.aceh-mm.org/: On 15 December 2006, the EU-led Aceh Monitoring Mission (AMM) completed its mandate of monitoring and supporting the peace process in the Indonesian province of Aceh. The AMM has monitored the implementation of various aspects of the peace agreement set out in the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Government of Indonesia and the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) on 15 August 2005 in Helsinki, Finland. The AMM was a civilian crisis management mission which consisted of monitors from the European Union and five ASEAN contributing countries. http://www.linkedin.com/in/kirstenmogensen

The ACEH was a revolutionary Islamist group in Indonesia:

On 27 February 2005, the Free Aceh Movement and the delegation of the Indonesian government started another round of peace talks in Vantaa, Finland, moderated by former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari.[9] On 16 July 2005, the Indonesian Minister of Communication and GAM announced a peace deal to end the thirty-year insurgency. The peace agreement was officially signed on 15 August by chief Indonesian negotiator Hamid Awaluddin and GAM leader Malik Mahmud.[1] Under the terms of the agreement, both sides agreed to cease all hostilities immediately. GAM also agreed to disarm, while the Government pledged to withdraw all non-local military and police by the end of 2005. An Aceh Monitoring Mission was set up by the EU and ASEAN to oversee the process of disarmament and the reintegration into society of GAM members.[10] A presidential decree granted amnesty to about five hundred former GAM members who were in exile in other countries, and unconditionally released about 1,400 members who had been jailed by the Government.[citation needed]

With her speciality being journalism, and her ties being journalism, one can only anticipate that she is immediately tied into media outlets for a reason.

The AG promises to arrest the UN 'Observers'.

The State Department warns against it.

I say arrest anyways. By the time the dust settles, Mitt Romney will be President.

Ludivine Estienne (of the NC delegation): Volunteer for Pusat Kajian dan Perlindungan Anak (a Sumatran childrens' rights group: part of the ECPAT network) in '08 after attending Paul Cézanne University. So if folks are trying to smuggle children in to vote, she should be qualified to recognize it. Beyond that, blank slate. 370ish FB friends, mostly UN-related folks, only 5 favorites; all entertainment-related (odd for someone who joined in 2007.)

Sergei A Rachkov: the head of the USA and Canada Department of the Belarus Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Participant in the 15th (2007) High Level Committee on South-South Cooperation (subcommittee of the UN Development Programme focusing on "overall intergovernmental and UN system-wide reviews of progress and efforts in technical cooperation among developing countries.") Also vice-chair the UN Third Committee (Social, Humanitarian and Cultural) in 2006. Other than a few cables mentioned the return of Belarusian children to their home country before their US visas expire (Chernobyl related respites) the only thing I've been able to find involve promoting Belarus's growing tech sector (trying to lure Western companies to invest) and his glowing reviews of their education system and literacy rates. Note: Belarus's Democracy Index is the lowest in Europe, two spots above China and three below Rwanda.
