Two videos distill the meaning of a campaign, and a presidency.

Actually, no. Stevens was running guns, ManPADS, and other light infantry weapons from Libya, through Turkey, and into Syria, where a LOT more people have died than in Fast & Furious.
That's the big story here, because not only was Zero trying to keep the meme alive that "Al Quaida is dead; Libya is progressing toward being a normal country," he was trying to keep the news from coming out that he is quite deliberately keeping AQ alive and kicking, as they surround Israel with jihadis armed to the teeth with American weapons.
Voting for this rat the first time can perhaps be forgiven by foolishness and being caught up in the passing immature and blind passions of the moment. Voting for him the second time can be forgiven by nothing.
If four years of hands on observation hasn't demonstrated that awful mistake to his dullard followers, nothing can. These can only be described as people who either will blindly march into the gulags or happily march others into them.
Frankly, I really, really want a permanent divorce from these scum sucking idiots.
Arming rebels fighting Assad, who is Iran’s closest ally, is a defensible policy, regardless of who those rebels are.
We are the people, after all, who allied ourselves with the USSR to fight a greater evil.
Not saying it’s the right policy, just that there are legitimate arguments for it.
I just get more nauseated and horrified every day.
Until one learns who the rebels are.
Not saying its the right policy, just that there are legitimate arguments for it.
Understood, until the second question is asked.
Me too.

Apples and oranges and a gross over-simplification of an intensely complex global alignment.
If it were nothing but Stalin v Hitler with no other countries involved, and we joined Stalin in the fight then your WW2 analogy might make sense but that is nowhere near the case.
But, this is Stalin v Hitler with no other nations involved. Stand back, let them duke it out with hopefully significant reduction in forces on both sides, then let the dust settle and do our best with what's left.

We are the people who were manipulated by Stalin's moles to provoke Japan into attacking us instead of the USSR, which would have made more sense for Japan at the time, and might have saved the world 50 years of communism.
Our alliance with Stalin benefited only him (and eventually, Mao.) All by design, and not at all that of American patriots.
I didn’t write that.
I do not believe that the Secret Service agents are some feelingless, humanless drones without human feelings.
I do believe that they would have had more respect towards Mr. Woods and his son lying in the casket and after hearing what Joe Biden said would have just stood by and watched.
I bet the Secret Service agents after hearing what Joe Biden said privately said " What a a$$hole " and what a disrespectful thing to say to a loved one who's son was laying in a casket who gave his life for this country.... Call it what you may, a momentary lapse in doing their job.
Sorry, but I respectively disagree with you. Of course they're not feeling-less, but Secret Service agents assigned to this sort of duty are willing to "take a bullet" for their charges. I have no doubt that they would have said "what an a$$hole" Biden was after the fact, but I also have no doubt that they would have done their job. They're among the ultimate professionals. I have no doubt they would have protected their charge, no matter what their personal feelings.

I think the other big storm is Benghazi and Obama will be caught out in the wind and rain.
He’s going to have to make a lot of noise the last 10 days to distract the electorate and keep independents with him, for ever how many that is.
If you want to get more military insight into Benghazi and other military issues, I recommend the radio show on KFI LA AM 640 8-10 Sat and Sunday nights, Brian Suits, A Dark Secret Place.
That is so true about ANY government office I have encountered over the years.
And when they ‘retire’ after 20 years and get out in the real workd to double-dip for the rest of their lives they are usually USELESS and UN-TRAINABLE
We had one administrator we hired based on her long-term admin post in the government. She turned out to be MORE THAN USELESS- she was an actual IMPEDIMENT to progress.
She would show up and walk around all day like a ‘survivor’ contestent try to schmooze others into forming ‘an alliance’ with her... She thought that is what you did all day at work.
Morale was so low and actuall work impeded while everyone tried to sort out who was supposed to do what while not stepping on her toes.
In the end they had to fire her because nearly nothing got done the entire year she was there. And she acted like it didnt matter because more funding and a bigger budget would be coming soon (like it does every year in government) and she would just hire some of her freinds to have more coalition ‘on her side’.
When they slashed her budget she threatend to SUE THEM and when she was fired she actually did file suit for ‘discrimniation’ (of course it is racist to fire a black person for anything)
Fortunately in real life a paper trail of incompetance goet her case tossed out of court immediately and she was counter-sued for damages and LOST!!!
Steyn is so good that whenever I listen to him on the radio or read his articles I feel smarter for having done so.
Didn't say you did. Just thought you'd be interested.
