I hear you. I also had to wait until I got our of NJ/NYC area, to PA 24yrs ago, to get “nice Class III toys”. Never looked back.

All FNC seems to want to talk about is NYC, but it looks like the Philly area is going to get pulverized by the winds. The one thing that I’m REALLY worried about is the Springton Reservoir dam (PA Rt. 252).

Disturbing photos, particularly because the storm center is still 200 miles SE of Atlantic City.

It’s raining lightly here. The creek is being monitored.
No wind here.
Greene county.

Greene County.
Just received a phone call from the Emergency service.
We’re expecting 3 to 6 inches of rain. (Yikes! the Schoharie creek will overflow!)
50 mph winds in the valley
75 mph winds in the mountains. (I’m in the mountains- should I rake my leaves?)
They requested that all campaign signs and lawn furniture be removed.

OBAMA'S FAULT !! It's all Obama's fault that Atlantic City is under water now because he didn't use the stimulus money to build a giant concrete wall out in the ocean to protect Atlantic City.
To: alancarp
My family used to spend a couple weeks every summer in Stone Harbor, just north of Wildwood. They’ve already had 2.6 inches of rain since midnight. The full force of the storm isn’t expected until late tonight!

That’s bad.
And considering how slow this thing is moving, it’s going to get way worse than it is better.

Just heard that its not possible to move the thread into Breaking. :(That's because it is already in Breaking News--it's just moved down the list.
