It was six weeks ago on Tuesday that terrorists attacked the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Now, CBS News has obtained email alerts that were put out by the State Department as the attack unfolded. Four Americans were killed in the attack, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
These emails contain the earliest description so far of what happened at Benghazi the night of the attack.

At 4:05 p.m. Eastern time, on September 11, an alert from the State Department Operations Center was issued to a number government and intelligence agencies. Included were the White House Situation Room, the office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the FBI.
"US Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack" -- "approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well. Ambassador Stevens, who is currently in Benghazi, and four COM (Chief of Mission/embassy) personnel are in the compound safe haven."
At 4:54 p.m., less than an hour later, another alert: "the firing... in Benghazi...has stopped...A response team is on site attempting to locate COM (embassy) personnel."
Then, at 6:07 p.m., State sent out another alert saying the embassy in Tripoli reported the Islamic military group "Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibilty for Benghazi Attack"... "on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli."

I wonder if the ‘cover up’ was also just about downplaying the whole thing so obama could continue his campaign in Vegas.
SIX people died. SIX, not four. 2 fron the Rapid Response Team who were ambushed when they arrived. Some others were injured. They say nothing about these people. They were all Americans.
I don’t think WASH DC has the minerals to impeach him...unless it’s a land slide GOP controlled congress...
Then again, they let Clinton slide - even through Emperor Zero is far worst than any one before - and perhaps after him...

Have you heard what happened to these two? I.e. how they died, who they were, etc.
heard they were sent in via helicopter but were shot down. Don’t even know if that much is true. Haven’t seen any follow up.

Why? Because it lacks context.
It does not point out that the administration insisted on the video story for days after this attack. It only points out that emails show the attack was immediately attributed to terrorists.
Without context, it sounds like a routine piece of information, not in conflict with anything else out there. The LIVs (Low information voters) have already forgotten the chronology of the attack narrative. Without this context, these emails mean nothing.

Gut feeling...it was a setup. Have no proof, but I really, really believe in my gut, O and his team put Stevens in danger for a reason and they let it play out the way it did for a reason. It is scary when I think of the implications. As cicero said:

They have spoken out. It’s just not getting any media coverage.
Coverup should be his downfall. Nixon resigned over the Watergate scandal. Same thing should happen here.
Director of CIA Petraeus (known as Betray-us by the military) knew. And since he is the master mind, why would he arm an ambassador when he doesn’t allow our military to shoot the enemy standing near a civilian? How often do infantrymen hit the target of the guy next to them at the range?
