I couldn’t get in to even type this post during the debate, but I think this needs saying for those concerned about Ann Romney’s current health. She threw a TD pass in a flag football between Mitt’s team and the press following him yesterday. Final score 14-14. She can’t be doing too badly!
What about 7 of 10 GM vehicles being built outside the US since the restructure of GM? 15 manufacturing plants in China since the resructure? What about Obummer ditching Netanyahu on multiple occasions and sneaking him in and out of the whitehouse in the cover of darkness, and going to Vegas when his presence was requested by Bibi??????
I thought the same thing watching on Fox. O is not a big man, but he looked bigger than Romney tonight. They moved the camera in on him to give him more heft or something.
Just downloaded Firefox. Hopefully it will be better.
My apologies to all for the excessive posts. Was waiting for something other than “the webpage you were trying to contact cannot be found.” When I finally got the response that the post was successful, you were all already offended. Nothing I can do about that now, it is in the past.
The reference to the 7 of 10 GM vehicles made outside the US comment comes from the CEO of GM himself. Please see the following video:

Wasnt meaning to offend anyone, but when I saw Romney not dragging Obummer on the carpet over these things, and compound that with “page not found” errors for over an hour, each of these are things that leads to maybe just a little frustration?? Maybe??
And, to all of you, maybe I was more irritating than Obama, but even I could do a better job in the White House than that BUM! So could any of you!
So, please....all of you just CHILL OUT a little!!! We are on the same team, to get Romney elected!!!
Cheers!
Anyone notice how Barry and Michelle lingered on the stage chatting with the Romney Bunch especially the little ones...as if he had to show the world he really was a nice guy.
Yes. Also saw how they were ready to immediately leave but decided against it. Another observation was the spontaneous applause for Mitt when O&M did leave the stage.
Freedom came up 4 times, all Romney,
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/10/22/transcript-presidential-debate-on-foreign-policy-at-lynn-university/#ixzz2A5cMJxIl
ROMNEY: “I wish that, looking back at the beginning of the president’s term and even further back than that, that we’d have recognized that there was a growing energy and passion for 1. ‘freedom’ in that part of the world, and that we would have worked more aggressively with our friend and with other friends in the region to have them make the transition towards a more representative form of government, such that it didn’t explode in the way that it did.
But once it exploded, I felt the same as the president did, which is these 2. ‘freedom’ voices and the streets of Egypt, where the people who were speaking of our principles and the President Mubarak had done things which were unimaginable and the idea of him crushing his people was not something that we could possibly support.
ROMNEY: Well I — I absolutely believe that America has a — a responsibility, and the privilege of helping defend 3. ‘freedom’ and promote the principles that — that make the world more peaceful. And those principles include human rights, human dignity, free enterprise, 4. ‘freedom’ of expression, elections.
These live debate threads have been an exercise in futility. I was unable to post or even keep up with the thread once again.
Attempting again...
he always seem to need his mommy after these things
Luntz’ group is defending 0 on foreign policy?? Loopy land.
Been there, done that
No biggie. :)
Well said.
I agree 100%
The undecideds are the great “Uninformed Masses”
I tried it the way you suggested, and it still didnt work for me. It isnt the browser, its FR. We had one asshole posting repeatedly through the thread, and many others who couldnt get pages to load or get their posts submitted
Not just one “asshole”, but quite a few. And to paraphrase your second statement, It isn’t the “asshole”, it’s FR.
I read comments on another site that said 0 wouldn’t acknowledge Romney’s grandson. I missed the very end, so I’ll have to watch again, for that.
When I was “scoring” this, I had two different score cards handy. First one was “how is Romney doing with the undecided, especially with regard to accusations of ‘being a war-monger’?” The second was “How is this playing with base, those of us who are making phone calls and knocking on doors?”
I think Romney held his own on the first scorecard. Much of that is due to the sitting office holder having a natural advantage of saying “I did this.”, while the challenger must say “I would like to do this.”, and if he disagrees too strongly with the incumbent, he can come across as too whiny. Mitt definitely did not allow himself to be hit tomorrow as “war-monger”, and yet he clearly is interested in America being stronger and the leader of the Free World.
On the second scorecard, there were many times that I was sitting up saying “Yeah!” when it came to his discussions of the economy.
I believe the result of this tonight will be more fire in our base, and a rise in the polls over the next week or so.
"You looking for a date, honey?"
"Name the act."
"Sorry, I thought you were somebody else."
Romney stuck to his game plan and of course it was all poll tested. Nothing is lost.
Well said. Frustrating, but true.
It's why I couldn't bear to watch. I knew Obama would lie his ass off, because he could, claiming inside information. Who could contradict him? It's a compulsive liar's dream.
Loopy is right!
No, it was far more than that. There is something up behind the scenes, that both candidates know is coming.
