Nearly six weeks later, the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, that left Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans dead is still shrouded in mystery. A clearer outline of the attack, though, is emerging.
A credible witness tells Fox News that, prior to the attack, he heard a mob approaching the missions front gate, chanting blood-thirsty slogans, before they broke in. He said it was less like a demonstration and more like a warm-up to battle.
This could explain how others thought, including some I spoke with, that the attack started as a protest. In the crowd, we are told, were members of Islamist groups from Benghazi. They all deny responsibility for the attack.
One such figure, singled out in the past week, was one-time Brigade leader Ahmed Abu Khattalah. Both The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal last Wednesday, citing Libyan officials, described him as a key suspect. They even suggested he was on the run.
I met with him openly last Friday. He admitted he was in the area of the mission the night of the attack (directing traffic) and inside the compound (assisting fellow brigade members). He denied any responsibility.

Ahhh, 6 weeks later, we finally get to “plausible deniability”... very easy now to say they misinterpreted the events, so their version of the attack is, well, humanly reasonable. Don’t ya just love these Marxists, never have to own up to anything, and they get to enjoy the life of a capitalist to boot... almost makes ya wish you were a Marxist don’t it?
Chanting —sure. Claims of a full demonstration would be too much, so the source is instead easssssing the narrative over to SPONTANEOUS with this more subtle flavor of B.S.
And that’s alll to provide cover for the Bisexual Muslim tomorrow night.
Hey, nice try, though...
Rich, isn’t it? People taking part in the ambush now openly meet with presstitutes, making proclamations which, lo and behold, BENEFIT Hussein. Why...?
Cuz they were Hussein’s partners then, just as they are now. Just like Iran, though in a technically different way.
BOTCHED PRISONER SWAP, FAST AND FURIOUS STYLE...
Nor does it excuse the fact that Obama and Hillary and all the rest of the administration just sat there for hours, while the situation deteriorated, and did nothing to send in help.
This brings me back to the old argument we often used to have here. Is Obama evil or stupid?
Well, in fact, he is both—evil and stupid.
I think it’s likely, though not provable, that this was meant to be some kind of October Surprise that went wrong. Not the first time that has happened. And now the Iranians have messed up his plans, too. And Putin is refusing to play nice, despite all the prezzies Obama has given him.

You A-holes will use e ery opportunity to engage in creative writing to lay a synthetic foundation for the myriad of excuses your boy god can finally point to as Prima Facia evidence of how they came to their manufactured view of this horrible travesty.
Go to hell and burn.
People are hurting and dying and the Prez smirks and laughs. You know what..? He has a very long pattern of doing that. Just look at this 50 second 60 Minutes video —he’s laughing his head off about some very unfunny stuff:

Video is available of what was taking place just outside the compound. There were men running down the street with heavy arms positioning themselves. That’s some spontaneous protest there.
The problem with the administration's fog of war spin is the timing. Why would 'protesters' gather at 9:30 PM? The Cairo protests were during the daytime, designed to attract the most international press coverage. Libyan 'demonstrations' late in the evening would have little PR value to them.
That was Biden’s whole modus operandi during the debate. The guy was so fixated at belittling Ryan, that he laughed through some very important serious topics.
Both these guys are inclined to laugh when they hear bad news.
Obama, tried to come up with a clever retort to John Stewart by repeating the term ‘not optimal’. He was trying to be cool. At even a moment like that, he couldn’t take a pass on being cool first, presidential second (if ever).
As Obama made his split second formulation of how to respond to that question, he momentary smiled as he decided exactly how he could respond. “Oh, this is really going to be clever!” No Mr. President, you were not cool. You were completely off base. Your attempt to turn this lite-hearted betrayed you. The loss of the men, not that big a deal. He’ll fix it. The need to be cool, a really big deal.
That one exchange tells you all you need to know about this man. He is unfit to hold the office.
How would Leftists feel if he was trying to crack jokes when asked about their family member’s death?
Eh, not optimal folks... ha, ha, ha...
By rights this guy should get one vote this November 6th.
I think Putin may be seeing the writing on the wall and hedging his bets. His chest-thumping missile exercises are designed to solidify his standing with neo-Soviet hard liners in the event Obama loses (and at the same time, to cow the ‘flexible’ Obama into submission on missile defense if he wins).
The mere fact that he appeared on a comedy show to discuss serious issues shows how disconnected this narcissist is from his responsibilities.
Many foreigners love the spectacle of American decline led from behind by the Muppet-in-chief and his grinning idiot sidekick.
Bombing of the Oklahoma City Federal building?

Yes, I’m afraid I’ll have to agree with you there.
The news a few weeks ago was that O misses more than half of his security briefings. Could that explain why he’s so clueless? Is anyone asking about what he missed that might have tipped him off?
Well, actually, the OKC bombing worked extremely well for clinton. He was much better at that sort of thing than Obama seems to be.
The relevant facts came out, mostly via the internet, but somehow it didn’t matter, and even most conservatives preferred not to think about it too much.
Actually, what surprises me is that even though the media are still in the tank for Obama on most things, they have given a LOT of air time to Benghazi. And while they don’t exactly blame Obama for it, just about everyone can see that it was a major screwup with lots of unaccountable behavior by the administration.
Yes, and 2 other things apparent from the article;
1. a mob chanting blood-thirsty slogans in Benghazi goes in the direction of the U.S. mission and the Libyan police do nothing to try to protect our personnel;
2. a Libyan official knew something could happen and Libya did absolutely nothing to intervene “...One Libyan official explained that he warned Americans in Benghazi just days before the attack about the risks.”
