U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann is leading Democratic challenger Jim Graves heading into the final weeks of the campaign, according to a new poll commissioned by the Star Tribune.
Bachmann, who is waging one of the most expensive House campaigns in the nation against a political newcomer, is favored by 51 percent of likely voters in Minnesota's sprawling Sixth Congressional District, which stretches from west of St. Cloud into Woodbury. Another 45 percent would choose Graves, a St. Cloud native and owner of Graves Hospitality Corp., an expansive hotel chain. Four percent of voters are undecided.
The Oct. 16 poll conducted for the Star Tribune by Pulse Opinion Research sampled 1,000 likely voters in the Sixth and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

So when she's re-elected, she will owe the GOP-e nothing.
Heh heh heh...
A good woman. Hope she wins. I hate the GOP.
This is good news.
I’m a native Minnesotan living in Nevada and have been supporting her campaign financially. My feelings are the same about the GOP. I can’t stand them! They are the reason Harry Reid is still in congress. They would not financially support Sharon Angle.
I wish I could support her too. A little short of money these days. Thank you for helping her!
Good that Bachmann is in the lead
She has been viciously attacked by PhonyCon Liberals like McCain, Graham, Rubio, and others, for asking about Huma Abedin’s alleged ties to Muslim Brotherhood. Even scarier is that we have people still considering Marco Rubio a “Conservative” over supporting Muslim Bro’hood instead of Bachmann (2106 I will get to primary Rubio out).
Michelle Bachmann is one of the true Real Conservatives left. She seems to get attacked more by PhonyCon Liberal RINOs than Liberal Democrats now. A win by Bachmann would be great in the fight against the PhonyCon Liberals
Good luck. The republicans control our house and senate.
we recently moved. Made sure we stayed in her district. We’ve moved 3 times. Each time staying in her district. We where in the small chunk of coon rapids that was in the 6th, then Blaine and now East Bethel.
She needs our vote. We’ll be here. I have a co-worker that worked briefly for Graves.. Co-worker says he is a slimy as a democrat can come.
Thanks for the ping!
I've been saying the same thing for some time about the Todd Akin race in my state of Missouri.
Thank you for pinging me to this, justiceseeker93.
I Akin makes it, I suspect a Republican Senate.
Desperately needed to control Romney and remove ObamaCare.
If they dont get her this time, theyll gerrymander her district to contain as many Eric Holders people as possible.
They can’t do that until 2020 so by then HOPEFULLY Americans will be smart enough to make her President so it won’t matter.
