I commented in one thread that Obama’s first debate performance, or lack thereof, may have been an indicator that he already knew ‘it was over’ and, thus, there was no need to appear aggressive. His second debate performance was more aggressive, but it was filled with empty rhetoric and platitudes.

I wonder who is stuck with the unenviable job of giving him the pre-debate pep talk and sending him out on stage.
