Yeah, I have a thought-what kind of insults would be tossed at a white candidate who was expected to show more concern for the plight of whites as a race, rather than Americans as a whole? I am so sick of identity politics, or at least of identity politics that work every which way except one.
I thought it was interesting how Obama didn’t answer the question at all. I’m not sure whether Mittens should have pointed out the higher unemployment levels for blacks, which Romney didn’t do.
Yes, b:Hussein:O has only contempt for all his “let them eat cellphones and foodstamps” voting base. (And his feelings towards the rest of America are even more hostile.)
He doesn’t have them in the bag?
Obama to the black man asking question : “ am I not being the angry black man enough ? “
Obama really wanted to say, “Brotha please! We both know you’re gonna vote for me so stop frontin’!”
You pretty well got it right. He beat around the bush (No pun)
His answer was that Black Special Issues are not important. Blacks are a minority and the issues of the majority have precedence this go round. There will be no pandering to blacks.
To me the implication is that blacks who actually heard the statements might not show up to vote. Those who already got their cell phones might not either since they already got theirs
What I thought was great was Romney’s response to the guy. That was symbolically pinning odumbo against the ropes and absolutely pummelling him.
My feelings were that the questioner was being told that he was an idiot for not recognizing all the wonderful things done by obama. Doesn’t matter if any of those things affected the questioner’s life. He should simply be grateful, appreciative and in awe of how wonderful the man in charge is.
