"I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, were the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Clinton insisted President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are not involved in security decisions, Clinton said.
"I want to avoid some kind of political gotcha," she added, noting that it is close to the election.

Could not agree more. Hillary suckered a bunch of folks here and the GOP, who were afraid to put her under oath during the hearings. It was a a diversion
and a rope a dope, as I mentioned in numerous posts yesterday.
Her buttocks would hang too far over the edges of the board and cause hip and back injuries. Also, intel would misunderstand her throat clearing for cackles.
Totally disagree. Hillary has made Obama look weak, it is unlikely she got approval for the statement, and she shifts all accountability for the cover-up to Obama and away from herself.

It’s an incantation for the Clinton’s to use whenever they do something stupid, and haven’t any escape route available.

When you see bill clinton lawyering up and hill takes the fall, it is getting too close to bill. hillary is the buffer. bill’s playbook, obama knows it. If obama goes down, so does bill. Mutually assured destruction.
You’re dreaming. Her favorability is sky high and I predict she will lose weight and have work done by the time 2016 comes around. The only thing that matters in Hillary’s political future is whether or not her husband is still alive in 2016. They’re going to do the “twofer” two-step in four years. Bank on it.
We all know just why Hillary is playing the scapegoat in this - tomorrow's debate. Just so if Obama gets asked any hard questions about Libya he can say "It was Hillary's fault."
Besides being the same weakling that she was when her husband was under attack for his philandering, she has again proven that she won't go up against the men in the Democrat Party. And she calls herself a "Liberated woman." She is a political wussy.
Now..the main reason I am furious is...this is such a smokescreen. The press will now try to stop any public reaction against Obama for the Benghazi slaughters. They will push it under the rug. WHEN THE IMPORTANT ISSUE IS...THAT OBAMA, LIED AND TRIED TO COVER THIS UP WITH A FALSE STORY ABOUT A FILM INCITING THE ATTACK! AND THEN WENT ON TO APOLOGIZE TO THE MUSLIMS FOR THAT FILM!
Nixon was impeached for his lie about the cover-up in Watergate. Obama's lie is much more serious, AND CERTAINLY JUST AS IMPEACHABLE AN ACT. Whatever he didn't know, he should have known, anyway.
I absolutely HATE how these people are playing the American public and how the Liberals in the Media are providing them accompaniment.
It seems whenever there are problems in the Obama Administration...it always comes down to someone else being at fault and Obama not knowing anything about the situation. These people want us to believe that they never talk to one another? That they have no communication? If that is true...what does that say about how Obama runs his Office? Is everyone acting on their own? Then..who...please...who is in charge? A rhetorical question for Conservatives, because it is obvious that no one is, Obama is truly an empty chair. But I pose this very serious question for the Liberals! Who is running this country if Obama has no clue what the people in his Administration are doing or not doing?
