Michelle said “for the first time in my life, I am proud of my country”
If Akin wins, for the first time in my life, I will be embarassed to be a republican.

In reading Specter’s obit, I was “embarrassed to be a Republican.” Turn-coat to the end, he finally made it official late in life by becoming a Dem.

If Akin disposes of McCaskill Rove will be furious.
Karl so badly wants to be a kingmaker, but the rubes just aren’t cooperating.

I’m sure this will be rushed into the RCP averages with no delay.

Great news.
And a big sample for a state poll.
Thanks, Perdogg.

Not a fan of Akin as a politicians, in that he has serious foot-in-mouth disease, but he is principled.
That’s huge.
Be funny if he wins, just to stick it to the GOPe — Cornyn, in particular.

I keep coming back to the MO referendum, when 70%+ voted against Obamacare..Seems to me that all Akin has to do is keep hanging her vote for Obamacare around her neck.and Claire's toast.
Anyone have polls on the MO governor's race?

I've said it before- Todd Akin is like that soldier who groggily stumbles out of his foxhole at 2 A.M. to take a leak, wanders in the direction of the enemy, and stumbles over a tripwire. You know the guy screwed up, but you still lay covering fire for him and help him any way you can...who knows? He might just take the enemy machine gun nest.

I would love to see Akin win if for no other reason than on election night I could taunt the Femnazi’s on Facebook and the message boards, who swore that Akin would not only lose but bring Romney and the rest of the Republican party down with him.

This should put the fear of GOD into the hearts of all these “ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS”. These RINOS have no fear of the democrats, their biggest fear is the TEA PARTY. They know that with the accendancy of the TEA PARTY in this country, sounds a death knell of the “RINOS” in our body politic. Let every politician be on notice, everything they do in Washington will be carefully watched, and if they think they can make unconstitutional laws, they will be removed from office. This includes the presidency
