Debate aftermath: Romney hammers Biden on Libya remark

(CNN) -- Mitt Romney led fresh Republican attacks on Friday over Vice President Joe Biden's debate remark about security concerns at the U.S. diplomatic compound in Libya where four Americans - including Ambassador Christopher Stevens -- were killed in a terrorist attack.
The GOP presidential challenger accused Biden of contradicting State Department officials when he said at Thursday's debate against Romney's running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan, that "we weren't told they wanted more security" at the diplomatic facility in Benghazi.
The mission came under attack by armed militants on the 11th anniversary of the September 2001 al Qaeda attacks on New York and Washington.
However, State Department officials told a congressional hearing on Wednesday that they requested more security but were turned down by headquarters in Washington.
"When the vice president directly contradicts the sworn testimony of state department officials ... the American people deserve to know what happened," Romney told a campaign event in the battleground state of Virginia.

"we weren't told they wanted more security" at the diplomatic facility in Benghazi... However, State Department officials told a congressional hearing on Wednesday that they requested more security but were turned down by headquarters in Washington. This guy is a heartbeat away from being Commander In Chief.

Romney sees himself leading in every poll and most every swing state. He knows if election were held today, he’d be the 45th POTUS - and is not going to go soft down the stretch. This could become a landslide if Libya turns into a massive scandal.

There are so many tossup senate races too. If Romney could build up a margin, maybe some coattails, and the GOP could sweep the board on all the close senate races, like Reagan in 1980.

Why could the Administration put a drone over the site to watch the murders but not an F-16 over the site to prevent the murders?

The GOP presidential challenger accused Biden of contradicting State Department officials when he said at Thursday's debate against Romney's running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan, that "we weren't told they wanted more security" at the diplomatic facility in Benghazi...but of course CNN is insisting that the "we" in that statement meant the Prez and VP, and so it wasn't inaccurate - as though the President isn't responsible for everything that goes on in his administration and isn't accountable for making sure that effective communications and response procedures are in place........

At U.N., Obama again blames Libya attack on video September 25, 2012
For 14 days after the attack no one told Joe and 0 that there were no protests there either!
Sec. State Clinton was also clueless about it.
