I can understand why a liberal student would be impressed with Joe’s debate performance.

Jerky Joe acted like an irresponsible, unruly class clown for the entire debate.

Neeraj is probably a Muslim, and is consequently mandated to vote for his fellow Muslim. Remember, students supported Occupy Wall Street. Make sure you do the opposite of what they do.

between a “We are in this together” mentality and “You are on your own” mindset.

Liberals are always there when they need me.

Rice University... same thing as Berkley on the Bayou to me but with a much higher price tag.

This foreign trash is irrelevant to me and should be to anyone else.

Neeraj Salhotra, a Rice University senior

Used to be that by the time a person attained the age to go to college that they had grown out of their childish infatuations.

People like Neeraj Salhotra are ruining this country. His parents like so many others came to U.S. to reap the benefits of hard work and opportunity and to run away from semi-socialist governments.

Here he is, turning this country to what his parents escaped from. Shame on him and his generation.

Twitter: media put off by the grinning/laughing jackass Biden

Weekly Standard’s Mark Hemingway: “Joe Biden’s laughing through talking about Iran sanctions?”

Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein: “Biden’s strategy seems to be to laugh at Ryan constantly. Will it work to infantalize Ryan, or backfire like Gore sighing?”

NBC’s David Gregory: “Biden’s smile is out of control.”

BuzzFeed’s Ben Smith: “So did Biden practice laughing at Ryan???”

ABC’s Rick Klein: “Biden on verge of breaking down in laughter when Ryan talks.”

Former Eric Cantor staffer Brad Dayspring: “Joe Biden needs to realize this isn’t a Senate Foreign Relations Hearing. His laughter and condescending attitude is a disaster.”

Radio host Neal Boortz: “Looking like Biden’s gameplan is to laugh his way through this.”

Townhall.com’s Guy Benson: “Will Biden laugh his ass off at the terrible economy, too?”

MSNBC’s S.E. Cupp: “Biden needs to laugh a little less through the Libya, Middle East, nuclear Iran segment.”

Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza: “Ok. I have decided. I find the Biden smile slightly unsettling.”

PBS’ Jeff Greenfield: “Biden has always had a smile that at times is really, really inappropriate.”

Washington Examiner’s Paul Bedard: “Can’t tell yet if Biden’s smirking, laughs, eye-rolling, head shaking, works for him or not against the oh-so-young looking eager Ryan.”

Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer: “Biden is at risk of having his laugh come across like Gore’s sighs. He should knock it off.”

The New York Times’ Ashley Parker: “Biden’s grin is Chesire Cat caliber.”

Republican strategist Ron Bonjean: “Biden laughing does not come off with the intended effect. It is actually hurting him. Looks very condescending.”

Movie critic Roger Ebert: “Joe! Stop smiling and laughing!”

Washington Times’ Emily Miller: “Biden laughing when he disagrees with Ryan is so annoying. Like a child in time out.”

Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin: “Biden’s laughing is losing the debate- obnoxious”

My post to Neeraj:

Whenever you give them the shot, they’ve done it. They’ve done it. Whenever you’ve leveled the playing field, they’ve been able to move.”

Neeraj, the comments I make below are not meant to be a personal attack against you or your family. I am sure you are the product of a good family and I wish you well in life.

Neeraj, what part of the playing field is not level? What opportunity have you not had in life? You are enrolled at Rice University. A lot of students have to go to community college. Is that a level playing field? Are you more advantage than those students? Maybe your parents made you study more than the next kid in your class. Or maybe you like to study more than the next kid. Is that fair?

Did you go to the library more than another kid in your class? It is available to all and free. If you did is that fair? Maybe your parents are both college educated and work white collar jobs that pay more than some of your friends families. Is that fair that they worked harder? Should that be taken from them?

I don’t know if your family was born in the U.S. but I ask this. If not, why did they leave their native country? Why didn’t they chose Cuba or Venezuela as a destination? It’s because they have a level playing field....no one gets ahead there.

If you believe in this shared philosophy of the democrats I ask the following question: Would you like it if some of your GPA was taken and given to a student who barely is making a 1.5 GPA because they don’t/won’t study, like to stay out and party all of the time? How much longer would you continue to study if this happened to you?

If you are unwilling to have your GPA shared in this manner, I suggest you re-evaluate your observation of the debate last night.

To the extent that today’s Democrat base are fans of rude, crude, in-your-face, 1960’s SDS sit-in tactics, the writer may have a point.

What has this haji been learning in American college? If he thinks the performance by Plugs constitutes a persuasive argument, he is wasting his time and money.

All Biden had to offer last night were catch-phrases. The Dems love catch-phrases and metaphors because that's all they have. So let's use a metaphor that pretty close to reality...

The ship of state has struck an iceberg but appears to still be afloat and moving. Captain Obama and Co. are totally unprepared to answer for what they have done and do not articulate any remedy because they have none. Obama and Co. ARE the problem. They have no plan to repair the damage and have absolutely no plan to change course. It's full speed ahead in the midst of an ever-growing ice field. They believe the ONLY COURSE is to replace wealth-creating capitalism with poverty-creating socialism.

When called into question or debate, socialists have difficulty with the substance of ideas and reality. The best they can do is sling metaphors or catch-phrases ("we're in this together") around and hope something sticks. Their best effort is to distract from reality like a dog and pony show on the deck of the sinking (or limping) Titanic and maybe pretend to "help" by rearranging the chairs (in this case handing out Obama phones).

Romney and Ryan need to ignore the Dems flashy distractions (except cursory mention of their purpose to distract) and continue spotlighting Obama's ruinous acts to date and his plans to continue so he can "finish what he started" (sink the ship, so he can get reassigned to a command post in the New World (Socialist) Order ).

Biden repositioned the theme of this election to the singular challenges facing America — rising income inequality and falling social mobility...

This person is retarded. These aren't issues for adults.

Even if they were, both issues have gotten worse under Obama.

What Neeraj Salhotra doesn’t tell readers: he was a staffer in the Obama White House.
If he lies about himself, imagine the lies he’ll tell about the debate!
