Vice President Joseph Biden speaks only for himself and President Barack Obama, and neither man was aware that U.S. officials in Libya had asked the State Department for more security before the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, a top White House official told The Cable.
Biden has come under fire for saying at Thursday night's debate, "We weren't told they wanted more security. We did not know they wanted more security there."
The Cable asked Deputy National Security Advisor for Communications Ben Rhodes whether Biden was speaking for the entire Obama administration, including the State Department, which acknowledged receiving multiple requests for more Libya security in the months before the attacks. Rhodes said that Biden speaks only for himself and the president and neither of them knew about the requests at the time.

Jumpin’ Joe sure tried to throw the intel community under the bus last night. Those guys must be fuming, because they tried to warn the “Administration,” but they were too busy fundraising to listen.
If this is true and the Hildebeast had an ounce of integrity/responsibility, she would resign immediately. Of course, that’s a pretty big “if.”
Ryan and the House
Yes, you’re right!
Isn’t that what they tried to crucify Bush for—a warning in an intel briefing a month or two before 9/11?
Yep. 0bama wasn’t even involved in the decision to raid OBL’s hideout in Pakistan. I guess if you’re not involved in something you can avoid accountability and can blame someone else. It’s kind of like voting ‘present’; Leave it to others, just in case..
WTF do they think their job is?
Mike Makowitz of FoxNews Radio just commented on this connection (not knowing/accusing Repubs of denying funds)...if I heard correctly.
They are setting up Hilliarly for the scape goat.
She had a history as first lady re hating guns near her, and she probably took that hatred with her to SOS.
So, whenever a embassy or outpost wanted more firepower and men to handle to the extra fire power, she would ignore the request or squash it.
This doesn’t excuse the empty chair pretender in the White House. He didn’t want to hear any bad news about his Islamo buddies.
Which is one of the biggest smokescreens of all, as the State Department, just like every federal agency, has discretionary funds that they could’ve diverted to oh, say, providing the level of security that the situation in Libya warranted...if they wanted to.
"Likely under White House pressure, and without any new evidence, the FBI immediately shifted its storyline away from a missile to a bomb, and a month later, from a bomb to a center fuel tank explosion."
When they settle on an explosion in the Benghazi consulate central heating fuel tank.. that's it.
You ask an excellent question.
I didn’t ask it very well, though.

Few Months ago when classified info was being given out by the WH it was said that Obuma would sit in on drone kill mission conferences on Tuesdays and Obuma would have the last say on who would make the kill list.
Obuma not involved yea right..
isn’t Obama a “veracious” consumer of data....
apparently not
So are those in the Obama Administration incompetent, liars or both?
Obama is so lazy that he doesn’t care about anything but his only opinion of himself????
LIARS
The biggest travesty here is that there should be a reaction from our government, a reaction that has a punitive, unabashed retaliatory flavor. Though boots on the ground would preferable to me, this reaction doesn’t have to be military. The lack of a response is putting all our people overseas, civilians too, in danger.
What will deter them from doing this again? Apparently, there are no consequences. This administration even makes excuses for them.
Very odd that we were more aware of the facts before the President was.
They wouldn't pass Obama's budget which had the needed funds in it to establish secure communications networks to the golf courses and the bars so these two could be kept in the loop..
