The 2012 presidential election is one of the most momentous crossroads in U.S. history. As Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the GOPs vice-presidential nominee, stated in his Thursday debate against Vice President Joe Biden, the outcome on Election Day will determine what kind of country we are going to give our kids. Under Obama-administration policies, out-of-control government spending has grown to such an extent that federal debt is now larger than the gross domestic product of the United States, the largest economy in the world. U.S. power and prestige in the world are in such dramatic decline that armed Islamists can overrun an American diplomatic compound, murder a U.S. ambassador and get away with it. On the economic and foreign-policy fronts, our nation is in chaos. The Obama-Biden ticket cant run on its record of failure so it has moved to a desperate scorched-earth strategy.
Make no mistake about it, Mr. Bidens obnoxious, smirking, rude behavior on the debate stage was the most disrespectful performance of any presidential or vice-presidential candidate in the history of televised election debates, which goes back to the 1960 contest between then-Vice President Richard M. Nixon and Sen. John F. Kennedy. In the end, the arguments and messages of the two candidates this week didnt matter so much because Mr. Biden suffered an overwhelming loss on the likability scorecard. As Brit Hume of Fox News characterized the match, It looked like a cranky old man debating a polite young man. "

What a short memory this writer has. Algore was just as rude and condescending in 2000 in his first debate with Dubya; interrupting, sighing, rolling eyes, ripping paper, etc. Algores poll numbers took a dive and even SNL made fun of it.
Considering that one of these men might, on a moment's notice, be required to sit with the leader of another nation contesting for liberty, every citizen who watched Biden should be seriously concerned.
Actually, in my opinion, there was little difference between Biden's performance and that of Obama, in that both were disrespectful and derisive. One's expression showed a sullen, resentful, petulant attitude. The other displayed an equally appalling disconnect between the seriousness of the discussion and emotional stability and expression.
Both were arrogant and may have underestimated the innate intelligence of millions of citizen/voters of the United States of America and their ability to recognize the difference between bravado and substance of character, respect for others, and seriousness of the challenges to America's liberty.
he was angry, then laughing like mad, then pointing fingers and telling off, then laughing again.
The man is a complete loon much like his base. and boss
When I left a gathering of GOP supporters at the debate viewing last night, I said to my friends, “That was a debate between a Politician and a Statesman.” It is easy to know which one was Biden and which one was Ryan.
Agree. . .Ryan is far more than a ‘polite young man’. Chris Wallace, none to please either. (Apparently, even Janet Napolitano had enough; calling Biden an ‘as#h##e’/lol.) The disdain; goes ‘across the board’ - and that is good. Would like to see an add with Biden doing all the ‘faces’ - and camera pa:ns and he is sitting with ‘world leaders’. . .
Afghanistan and Iraq have cost about $1 trillion since 2001. The cost of the 2009 “Stimulus” Act, with interest, is about $1 trillion.
Which of these expenditures produced more jobs and had other positive economic effects?
LOL! Great point. But Biden made such an ass out of himself elsewhere, I wonder how few actually noticed.
“Joe Biden came across as a demented Alzheimers patient”
I worked in the alcoholism section of a city’s Health Department. Biden acted like a guy after a few days of forced detox. The mean-ness was over the top.
Yeah, rofl, but, he just looks like Walter. Twin brother’s both plastic.
THATS PERFECT, SUPER, FREEPERS ARE THE BEST. THANKS.
Think Jeff Dunham needs to apoligize to WALTER, rofl
Walter could use some ‘plugs’.

VERY GOOD.
“(Apparently, even Janet Napolitano had enough; calling Biden an as#h##e/lol.)”
Are you confusing Janet Napolitano with Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox news consultant?
I like that!
