The chief diversity officer at Gallaudet University was put on administrative Wednesday after the school learned she had signed a petition supporting efforts to reverse Maryland’s same-sex marriage law, media reports say. Dr. Angela McCaskill signed the petition at her church after her preacher spoke against gay marriage, the Planet DeafQueer blog reported on Monday, citing a Gallaudet faculty member who first spotted the administrator’s name on the document. Voters in Maryland will decide on Nov. 6 whether to keep a state law passed earlier this year approving same-sex marriage.

Speaking of “Diversity” officials, are there any of those who are extracted from the ranks of Indians (Amer. or Asian), Oriental, Caucasian or other ranks? Or is this title a set aside for Blacks and those who qualify under that grouping?
“Diversity Chief”... is this really what tuition money goes too??? Christ, no wonder its so expensive!!!
Liberals view diversity the same way they view freedom of expression. It’s all very important to them until someone says or does something they don’t agree with, and then it’s time to shut people up and take their jobs away.
This is why you can’t win an argument with a liberal. Well, you CAN win, but they’ll never believe that you won. They have a built-in defense mechanism that says that their opinions are facts but your facts are worthless opinions that must be silenced.

As a private citizen, she goes to church on Sunday, signs a petition in support of reversing the same-sex marriage law in her State, and is put on leave from her job. Boy oh boy...I can't wait to see what employee rule they cite to defend that move. I hope she sues and wins big!

Diversity Chief fired over not being diverse in the correct PC slant of what that means: the very definition of IRONY.
Kind of like a Zampolit being relieved of duty for political crimes.
I wonder who they got to put her on Admin Leave, since that’s probably normally HER job...
Apparently she is a handicapped (deaf) black woman; blacks are being shown the bottom of the “victim ladder” (this started when Hispanics passed them in numbers in the 2000 census).
She is not the only black person to pay for opposing gay marriage; it seems that some think they are SO entitled to their jobs that the “white people rules” don’t apply to them. I work with some white women who think the same way.
This is so wrong and antiAmerican.
