On todays episode of Fox News The Five co-host Eric Bolling had harsh words for White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, accusing the spokesman of lying and the administration of covering up its previous knowledge of the terrorist intentions behind the September assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
After the show played a clip of ABC reporter Jake Tapper confronting Carney about his claims that the violence was a spontaneous reaction to a YouTube video despite the administrations claimed knowledge of it being a sophisticated terrorist attack, Bolling expressed his anger:
Jay Carney is lying to the American people. I will say it unequivocally because the man did say that he blamed the movie. The day after, Hillary Clinton came out and blamed the movie the following day. It was the movie. Day five, Ambassador Susan Rice, who is in the State Department under Hillary Clinton said it was the movie. She told everyone. Five days later Jay Carney said its the movie. Even on Air Force One he said its the movie. My problem here is that the day before the hearing, yesterday, the day before the congressional hearing, the State Department says, By the way, we knew all along it was terrorism. In fact, we knew we had credible evidence all along. We never said it was the movie. But they did. Hillary Clinton said it. Ambassador Rice said it.
This is a White House coverup, he alleged. The State Department says, Were not part of the coverup. Well tell the truth the day before the hearing. And even more disturbing: They stonewalled for three weeks so we couldnt find out exactly what happened. Meanwhile, four americans are dead.
Liberal host Bob Beckel added that President Obama should address the debacle and say Look, we just should have laid this thing out. We didnt do it. Instead, he said, right now the hole is getting too deep.
Co-host Greg Gutfeld then chided the administration for initially blaming the attacks on an anti-Islam YouTube video, saying They are spinning more tails than a tuxedo factory.
What spread the riots? Not just the initial riots, but the riots that came afterwards. You know who spread them? he asked his colleagues. The administration did. The administration is responsible for what happened by blaming the video. They appeased a mob, incited the mob to commit more mob violence.
Watch the segment below, via Fox News:
There response will be...How can it be a coverup if we all know?
If we just stay on this horrific coverup, we can keep O on the defensive.
It's the greater WE that counts here that includes the leaning Obama voters who haven't yet voted. In general they don't know much and the MSM is not going to educate them on Benghazi-gate.
Romney and perhaps Ryan are going to be the ones to put this on the front page of the NYT. If they don't do it then the story will just fade away like an old soldier.
"Such quiet little good doggies.... treats for you!"
Ask Reggie if 0’s pants are on fire.
Recall that Obama was still blaming ‘the video’ when he made his speech at the UN on September 25, two weeks after the murder of the Ambassador and 3 others on September 11.
Mara Eliason at the Jay Carney WH press conference today sitting behind J-Tapp had her eyes wide shut and I bet she was clicking together her Ruby Slippers and wishing she was beaming up an away.
mine won’t work
I’ll bet beckel hates being on that show. The other panelists tell the truth, and since he can’t rebut them, all he can do is make obnoxious remarks. It would be a much better show without him (or some other leftie dumbass liar like Juan Williams).
I can’t stand Beckel and Williams. I either hit the mute button or change channels.
Now that we all agree the O admin LIED, why don’t they tell us WHY? Rhetorical. But they won’t say why becuz it’s obvious that they put politics over national security.
And they’d have to admit they lied first, which O will never do. A sociopaths reality is whatever he wants it to be.
Congressman Trey Gowdy...
saying the ONLY right things that have so far been said
That's not all that's getting too deep.
I sorta thought they lied because they’re so eager to find any excuse to suppress speech that’s inconvenient to the Left, as they’ve done on campus for years, as they’ve done with “hate” crimes, and as they tried to do with the “Fairness” Doctrine, that they saw the protests as their chance to do that, and couldn’t let go when things spiralled out of control.
That was awesome! There are so few principled voices out there right now, I wish we could clone Trey!
Gee Bolling . . . what was your first clue?
