I spent some time in Denver in a former employment. While I would not have wanted to run a marathon, the mile high air didn't make me stupid!
Of course, back then Ronald Regan was president. I'm sure the air was much better then. After years of globull warting, who knows if Denver's air is any good /sarc

I once ascended to the summit of Lassen Peak, which stands at 10,462 ft elevation - nearly two miles above sea level. That did not make me or any of the dozens of other hikers stupid either.
