It was almost too easy for romney, smells like a trap. Now the libs and the MSM know what they’re up against, and can plan accordingly. Next debate, romney will need to throw them a curveball, and keep them guessing. Or I could be wrong and obama really is that much of an idiot. It’s not obama I’m worried about, it’s his handlers’ response that has me wondering what the next move will be.

That's easy: An attack on Libya.

Rush is exactly right. Obama is basically a lazy dude. Comes from years spent on Hawaiian beaches smoking weed and God knows what else. Odumbo much rather have parties in WH, mingle with the Hollywood crowd and play golf on all the elite private courses. Actually I like anyone who is an avid golfer, so I like that one thing about Odumbo.

Reminds me of of the last scene in “Being There”...only he’s finally not walking on water any more.

Next debate will be worse for him. It’s townhall-style, so unless they completely and totally pack the audience with shills, he’s going to stammer and stutter and wander even worse.

Next debate,

The next debate TOPIC is FOREIGN POLICY. The Obama team is hoping to stomp Romney because of his lack of foreign policy experience.

If Obama really is that much of an idiot, and I suspect that he really is, then there’s not much his handlers can do about his next debate performances, because little Barry’s gonna be ALL alone up there behind his podium, with no little thingie in his ear to whisper the answers to him, no adoring, hand-picked audience to swoon over him, no teleprompter to read from, and no softball questions from the twits on “The View”.

I suspect it will be like the Bush/Gore debates. I think the next time Obama debates Romney, he’s going to be wired up and will try to be the alpha male. Like Gore, I think Obama will snap to the other extreme in a way which reinforces the idea that he’s a little unstable and not confident.

If Romney can keep a cool head and be deliberate with the facts and with his rebuttals, I think he’ll do well. It will be interesting to see if the moderator next time will do more to help Obama.

If Romney did one thing well tonight, it was that he may have cracked Obama’s armor enough that some of the undecided and even some democrats will realize they are tired of Obama and not want him around anymore.

This is probably the first time that Obama has been directly challenged in an election. McCain certainly didn’t go after him like he should have.
