Frank Luntz: Ive never seen anything like this; CBS post-debate poll shows big win for Romney
(Excerpt) Read more at twitchy.com ...
Chrissy has had the tingles, but figured out tonight he has been living with a transvestite the past 4 years.
YES!
Chrissy Mathews may not have felt a tingle tonight, but I bet his coworkers will be asking him to change his pants nonetheless.
Can Matthews smell what Barack is cooking in his pants?
good one
lol
I thought McCain handled himself fairly well against Obama in the debates. In the first debate he ran circles around Obama because it was on foriegn policy and clearly showed he was the more knowledgeable and experienced candidate, in the second debate nobody won because they both put me to sleep and made no effort, and in the third party, they both scored points so it was pretty much a tie.
I don't get where this "Obama is a masterful orator" BS comes from. I've watched Obama debate Bobby Rush (2000 primary), Dan Hynes and Blair Hull (2004 primary), Alan Keyes (2004 general), Hillary Clinton (2008 primary), and John McCain (2008 general) and each of his opponents has held their own against him on the debate stage.
What ??? Not the TOTUS [which had the good sense to stay home] ???
I can’t comprehend the mind of an undecided voter any more than I can comprehend the mind of a hyena or manatee. I (almost) have more respect for the totally apathetic at this point.
He’s talking about how big the swing is from Obama or neither to Romney.
hehehe
You are right on, and I will second your entry.
“Obama was expecting `McCain II and got a buzzsaw instead.
Romney did what a challenger is supposed to do and Obama looked like a chump.”
I liked the part where he said, “You want government to be able to pick and choose winners, but you can’t even do that... you’re real good at picking losers though.” Lil Barry shot him a look that would freeze a thermometer.
Yep, he hammered Obama over th 90 billion to green energy.
“Would have paid for 50 years of the so-called big il welfare.”
“Could have hired two million teachers with it.”
“Talk about piking winners and losers...you only choose lossers.”
“Most of the recipients were big campaign donors of yours.”
It was a gift that kept on giving!
I wish he would have summed up the 80 billion dollar issue with a line like this,
“Quite frankly, Mr. President, and with all due respect, if you ahd worked for my investment firm and made any invetstment like this, you would have been fired.
“I hope ther American people remember that come November. Sort of like a Hollywood actor I know said, If they aren’t doing the job, you just gotta let ‘em go.”
The only one to blame is Obama.
4 years in a cocoon and he is unable to debate anything, he has no connection to reality
That was pretty damn funny! Still laughing.
I liked this from Romney:
I just dont know how the president could have come into office, facing 23 million people out of work, rising unemployment, an economic crisis at the -- at the kitchen table and spent his energy and passion for two years fighting for Obamacare instead of fighting for jobs for the American people.
Further down in the transcript:
... First of all, I like the way we did it in Massachusetts. I like the fact that in my state, we had Republicans and Democrats come together and work together. What you did instead was to push through a plan without a single Republican vote. As a matter of fact, when Massachusetts did something quite extraordinary, elected a Republican senator to stop Obamacare, you pushed it through anyway. So entirely on a partisan basis, instead of bringing America together and having a discussion on this important topic, you pushed through something that you and Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid thought was the best answer and drove it through ...
either that or so uninformed and havent read internet news to get truthful news
“Romney needs to double down on this and drive home his messages on Obamacare, Medicare, spending, deficit etc.”
Those are important, but he will win the election on the jobs message. Jobs are not soemthing down the road (even 2013) - they are a crisis NOW.
Obama wanted to weaken Romney’s ObamaCare opposition by painting it as similar to RomneyCare; Romney did a great job drawing clear distinctions.
