One of the best lines was when Mitt told Barry that he wasted 90 billion dollars on failed green companies. He could have hired 2 million teachers with that money.

Considering how the libs keep harping on hiring teachers, this got them in the soft spot.

Barry looked visibly angry at that comment.

My 16 year old son had to watch and review for his History class. Because he had to be as objective as possible - I left the living room and let him watch by himself - he scored it for Romney 18 - 12.

I guess I've done something right along the way!

I agree that Mitt won tonight. But more importantly, he needs to win the _last_ one. Bush was awful in the first debate with Kerry in 2004. But he showed a lot of improvement by the last and won it. Among voters that care about the debates, that’s the one they’ll remember. Mitt needs to maintain his offensive tempo in all the debates and not be too surprised if Obama somehow manages to get his act together for round three.

This is all new for Obama.

He’s against a Republican who will verbally punch him in the teeth without looking “mean-spirited.”

Last time Obie had no record to defend, and he tried to force McCain to defend the record of GWB, a guy he didn’t even like!

Whole new ballgame this time, and for 90 minutes the media couldn’t bail him out.

"The gay twerp on the panel with the glasses on MSNBC just said that this was all a plan by Obama to appear soft and cuddly because his base needs to know that he is a likeable man." He looked more like this.

Hussein went to Las Vegas where he could “relax” while he prepped for the debate. I think he and his preppers had different modes of relaxing in mind. He had no presence of mind at all, and the worst was him rushing away after the debates were ended so that Romney and family came out to take “curtain calls” all by themselves-looking like a Prediential First Family. Hussein scooted off with his tail tucked between his legs. Probably needs a blunt to calm down from this blunder.

The most extraordinary thing I’ve ever seen since Reagan whupped Carter.

It was incredible.

Mr. President, I've known statesmen and presidents, and you Sir, are no statesman or president. ;)

There you go again, Obumbler. LOL!

The idiots at MSNBC are throwing Lehrer under the bus like he was one of the replacement refs.

How many times did Nobama say “you know” ?

Always the sign of an amateur speaker.

finally found my password. They are miserable over there. A few are trying to whistle past the graveyard, but my favorite post title was “One of the worst debating performances of a sitting President I’ve ever seen.” Too much fun.

I knew in first few minutes Romney was winning, and would probably win. He did. I had VERY low expectations for Romney, and he performed VERY well. Missed a few openings, IMO, but looked and sounded well. Obama looked ticked off whenever he wasn’t talking. It also didn’t help when he looked pleadingly for Lehrer to stop Romney. Made him look like a big baby.

You did the right thing. My 17 year old asked me to watch it with him. I said the new South Park was on and left the room.

Amen! The arrogant communist was not able to stick his nose in the air and had to keep his head down for most of the debate.

He expected Romney to be another McCain.

I quick put on MSNBC (could only handle about one minute there) Ed schultz thinks Obama got screwed on time!

Al Sharpton was screaming the race card with 47% etc.

I saw Rachel Maddow but could not wait to hear her speak-I had to turn it off. I felt so dirty!
