President Obama and Mitt Romney meet for the first of three presidential debates starting at 9pm ET from the University of Denver. The 90-minute debate will be moderated by Jim Lehrer. C-SPAN Live coverage begins at 7pm ET.
Privately, some Democratic strategists said the challenger got the best of the president.. “We got our clock cleaned,” said a Democratic strategist who spoke on condition of anonymity out of fear of retribution. The strategist had reviewed results of polls and focus groups of the debate.

Same here. MR flayed Zero alive and it would be insane to think otherwise. But he is still who his record shows he is and that’s the way it is.
Sad that most of conservatism has grown more liberal by each successive election, but that too is the way it is. And I wish them luck. But Congrats to MR on the win. He will almost definitely be the next President.

FR’s normally slow anyway, but it was the worse tonight than it’s been in a long time. I’ve got Road Runner Turbo and had a real problem getting the pages to load. Ended up with a lot of “failed to open” pages saying that FR’s servers were not responding. If it’s this bad now, we’ll be totally screwed on election night.

21 out of 24 in Lutz Undecided focus group think Romney won. 13 of them are 2008 Obama voter. More then half said tonight decided them to vote for Romney
So sorry but the data does not back up the negative opinions.
He did. The first debate is the biggie. I was surprised that Obama has a serious math problem, he had nothing but platitudes. Maybe the dems are trying to slow the vote if you will. They know the internals better than anybody.

I watched something like that - where those the undecideds in CO? They seemed really pro mitt because of this debate.
