Butt chugging is better for you than drinking. When you drink, the alcohol is absorbed by you small intestines, and follows the blood circulate directly to your liver. When you butt chug, the alcohol is absorbed by your large intestines, and is circulated throughout your body before it gets to your liver. That is why many drugs are administered via suppositories.
