If they are fat or ugly, they will get few viewers. Same as with movie and TV stars. When I am getting ready for work in the morning, I watch Houston's local channel 2 because they have the cutest traffic girl. The only other thing that factors in is the amount of in-my-face bias I see. Otherwise, they are all pretty much the same quality-wise.
