For more than 50 years, the black community has been the wholly owned subsidiary of the Democratic Party. That may be changing. In spite of the overwhelmingly liberal voting patterns of black voters, they are an essentially conservative community. Americans of African descent are more pro-life and pro-family than the average white voter and as conservative on social issues as any white evangelical.
Democrats have managed to monopolize the black vote in spite of the vast chasm between the two on social issues. This philosophical difference has become more pronounced in the past 20 years, as liberals have embraced far-left progressivism. Their view of social justice embraces the killing of an unborn child right up to the moment before birth. Indeed, President Obama, the iconic representative of the far left, believes that even a child born alive should be left to die without medical treatment if the mother intended an abortion. He championed this Mengelean position as a state senator in Illinois.
I was raised to be an FDR Democrat because my father was a young man during the Depression and credited President Roosevelt with saving him from starvation. The Republicans only care about rich people, I was told. This was more than 40 years ago. In spite of my childhood indoctrination, as a young man newly committed to my Christian faith, I had a crisis of conscience in the late 1970s. Massachusetts Democrat Barney Frank was pushing the homosexual agenda. How could I, as a Christian, be committed to a party led by Mr. Frank? In the end, I could not. My desire to be in a right relationship with God and my faith was greater than my desire to be approved by my father, my family or the black community. My wife and I, then Massachusetts residents, left

The DNC supports slavery of future Americans,
and slavery of women and children worldwide under Islam.
Never gonna happen.
The best that can be foreseen for the republic and for blacks is that they stop voting.
When they do vote, however, it will be reliably about 90% DNC.

Let his words resonate in their ears. They cannot yell "Praise Jesus!" in one moment, and then push a voting machine button that says "Obama/Biden" in the next. The pastor is very correct on this point as well: God will hold them accountable for their actions. The Bible says we will ALL have to give an account.
Supporting Democrats in this day and age (with all the evil they perpetuate against God and His Kingdom) is to invoke God's judgment.
In ones and twos...
Right. You’ve got 96% Obama approval! If 15% would leave that Rat party that’d be huge. But it’s groupthink, media manipulation, vote for skin color to advance the race.
The article is more wishful thinking than reporting. M
Action speaks louder than words. So far, all I see from the black community is that race trumps life, race trumps G-d.
Yes, back when I was in college I had a professor that claimed (with a straight face) that black men were more involved in the raising of children than white men, even if they didn’t marry the mother (and this was before our current generation of tattooed and pierced white trash who actually emulate the ghetto lifestyle). It is easy to speak in such generalizations when it is difficult to quantify.
Riiiiight.
I am seeing a movement of church-going blacks changing their opinions about the Dmocrat part and voting Republican just the same as the white population. I’m one of them. I was a registered Democrat for years but when I saw the direction the party was taking I started voting Republican. In fact I got so fed up with them I’m now working for the Republican party to put out election signs for Romney...lol
So you are going to see a big change in the voting patterns of the black church folks this time around. A lot are not going to be voting by race from what I’m seeing which is hopeful.
I pray your words are true. The Democrat party has changed, and not for the better.
You'd be stunned at the number of them turning up in New Hampshire...they are everywhere.
It is difficult to be both a practicing member of ANY organized religion, in which there is professed to be a Supreme Diety, with a polar opposite with nearly as great an inventory of powers, but universally regarded as both inferior to and less merciful than the Supreme Being, and the modern-day version of “liberal”, which secretly believes that the intellect of MAN is the ruling intelligence in the universe.
Note how carefully I defined the organized religion. There are organized religions in which the “polar opposite” has been elevated to the superior position, and there is endless justification for suppressing and subjugating one’s neighbors. “Satanic Verses” rips the veil off this apostasy of what was originally a recognition of the existence of some Supreme Being, but favoring the one that feeds on impulse and animal aggression, over the One that appeals to the innate sense of justice and mercy.
There is, of course, the presumption of the existence of free will, as opposed to being merely slaves of destiny.
To embrace one view of mankind, is to suppress and vilify the other view of mankind. Some things are beyond compromise, but the only two paths that remain are either an uneasy truce between the two views, or the ruthless extermination of one point of view, by the other.
As expected, ruthless extermination is the path most often pursued.
If only.
This is nonsense all the way to drivel.
No demographic group can vote as a near monolith, election after election, for decades without buying into the quarry that spawned it.
There may be a few sensible splinters that broke free, but we have in the black community a liberal group that worships at the alter of liberalism.
Every once in a while the black community accidentally stumbles in another direction (see defense of marriage in California), but it recovers nicely by the next month so it doesn't need to justify the tenets of the Democrats.
To say anything else is a Republican delusion.
