I can’t imagine.
You can’t be too careful.

If the facts are as stated, responsibility for this tragedy rests squarely on the son’s head. I can’t imagine what the poor father must be feeling.
I’m sure the kid was just out having a little fun. Think the lady was to be the object of a little robbery and rape?
I have a bad feeling about this one, that there was something really bad going on with that boy. Much rides on what he was holding in his hand.

Apparently the boy had a small gun, and approached his father with it “in a menacing manner”.
Did the dad just go off shooting with no words? Was the kid actually trying to break in when confronted?
Such bad reporting by the typical "news" media. Almost as bad as when they quickly report something "bad" about Romney only to later find it was all a joke (they can't wait to say something bad about him), but gaffes by Obama need to wait to be "verified" (translation: approved by the Obama thugs and only after they have come up with a response to CYA).
So was there a weapon?
That any male makes it through the teenage years is a minor miracle.
That man is going to need a strong support group, and a man of the cloth.
I doubt I could maintain my own sanity after such a tragedy.
I once heard it said the "the failure of the son to act responsibly is the failure of the father to teach responsibility." At one point in my life I totally agreed with that... I'm not too sure that I do so as much as I used to. I have an 8 year old that I am doing everything in my power to raise as a good Christian boy... I have him in a Christian school and am very involved in his life (without smothering him.) I face a battle with some outside influence every day, and am thankful that he will talk to me and ask me questions so that I can explain the "rights and wrongs" involved with whatever the situation might be. But what if I wasn't able to be there enough? In today's world, a parent that is trying to do everything right in raising his child is outnumbered by liberal enablers of all types at every turn and has an uphill battle.
Why is a 15 y/o running around outside at 1am on a school night? (rhetorical)
So he died instantly and never knew he was shot? Because the father sure as heck knows he shot him.
