Americans appear to be (somewhat involuntarily) returning to an earlier era of thrift. Unfortunately -with the entire economy based on the continuance of profligacy - that trend will destroy what remains of the last thirty years of excess, taking a lot of good people and well-run companies with it.
Virtually all of his ads running here are about “Economic Patriotism”. It’s as if he is channeling Ross Perot from 1992.
