Mike is campaigning in Ohio with the next President.
This is what I have seen as well. We are disconnected from a great many things because the consequences which normally are there to provide self correcting, negative feedback have been replaced in favor of an alternative sort of reality where the rules have been turned upside down.
We often are either rewarded for failure and even punished for success, and almost all of it due to government thanks to the power of people with no skin in the game being able to vote for characterless politicians who then give them free stuff.
The problem is that we are comfortable in our demise and thus clueless that it is actually happening, because we don't feel it like we used to before the redistribution of other people's money.
I often think that Mike Rowe’s life changed for the better when he started his show.
love Mike Rowe. my daughter worked with him on a termite story. What you see on TV is the real mike rowe. Does drink a lot of beer, though.
Thank you for this great Post! Mike Rowe is one of my greatest Hero’s! I worked my way thru College and my BSME, BALA and MBA doing the dirtyest and most disgusting labor jobs in a major Chemical Plant! YUK! But it made me a better person!
