A Mississippi man has taken his wife's last name after the ACLU complained he was told by state officials that he would need a court order to do so because it was not traditional.

But it take a special person to be a Dad.....

Given the facts, I would change my name as well....
Just don’t choose Obama, Biden, Pelosi or Reid :^)

Basically I look back upon my grandfather as being my ‘dad’. No nonsense, farmer (retired when I was with him), kept a gun by his bedside, religious and stern..............

As the last survivor of my given surname, I believe it was a very loving and thoughtful thing for him to do.
However, I wouldn’t ever expect anyone to do it for me. I’m into tradition.
