Mia Love Surges Ahead of Jim Matheson in Recent Poll
Ramped up attack ads from Matheson signal desperation
Saratoga Springs A recent poll conducted by Public Opinion Strategies indicates Mia Love has surged to a commanding 51-36% lead over Matheson. Mias message of reforming Washington is gaining widespread support from Utah voters, while Jim Matheson's support for Obama's policies have diminished his support for re-election.
With Mia Love surging among voters, Jim Matheson and his allies have resorted to false and personal attacks. Matheson and his Washington allies have begun a deeply negative campaign, attacking Mia Love, her family and Saratoga Springs. While voters have rejected these tactics, Jim Matheson stands by these admittedly false attacks.
Mayor Mia Love stated, The support for my effort to change Washington and support Mitt Romney in Congress is encouraging. Sadly, Jim Matheson has turned to false attacks on my community and my family. Now is the time for Jim Matheson to stop his negative campaign. If Jim believes he wants to change politics, he should begin by changing the tone of his campaign."
Campaign Advisor Ivan DuBois said, Unfortunately Matheson is playing the same old Washington games, letting his allies launch negative personal attacks and then claim he doesnt care. With Jim Mathesons support withering away, its really no wonder his campaign and Washington allies have become increasingly petty and desperate.
Mayor Mia Love concluded, This continued momentum and support is thanks to hundreds and thousands of Utahns who have joined our grassroots movement. Were ready to take our country back. But our team will take nothing for granted and wont let up in these final weeks the stakes are too high, especially with Matheson and his Washington Democrat friends getting so desperate. My campaign will focus on the real issues as we continue to invite Utah voters to join us in fighting to restore the America we know and love.
The poll indicates with just six weeks until election day that Jim Matheson is now in uncharted territory as a candidate. Jim has been unable to connect with voters and is flailing to find a way to keep his job.
Awesome news!

WOW!!! GO MIA!
Heard Mia Love on TV. I’m really impressed by her.
I take it this will be a pick up for Conservatives?
Met her in person. I'm impressed by her too.
Is Jessie and the Black Communist Caucus going to support her?
Pray for America
Saw her on Huckabee for the first time this weekend. She talks like a conservative talk show host and with total conviction. In other words, she’s who we need in the government, as opposed to a bunch of country club, establishment good ol’ boys whose real constituencies are the liberal media and their Democrat pals in Washington.
Yes. It's a new district, but Matheson has been an incumbent for at least 12 years. He switched to the new district because he thought he would more easily win there than in what apparently would have been be a race against Jason Chaffetz after redistricting put them both in the same district.

I’m looking forward to seeing Mia go toe-to-toe with Maxine Waters. I’ll bring popcorn.
Come on, give Mia a Love Bomb of monetary support!!
Mia is an impresssive candidate. I have no doubt she will win!
It would be awesome if she wins her district.
I see why Harry got upset at Mitt the Mormons are invading Nevada for Mitt. Good site
I think Mia’s a more effective salesman for Mormonism than Mitt is.
Maybe it’ll take a black woman to be the “white horse.”
